I came to stay here with a few friends for a golf tournament that was at glenlakes. Hands down great service all the way around. I met several on the staff that were offering ideas of where to go eat or get drinks. It helps they are located at OWA. Where most stuff is located anyways. The front desk was awesome and both ladies had warm smiles on their faces. Tana the GM was out walking the property and was such a pleasure to speak with. I definitely recommend this place. 10/10!!

I stayed here during a competition and the service was top notch. Kay at the front desk was extremely helpful by making suggestions of places to visit and ways to maximize our time in the area. When we first arrived she was in the process of handling something else, but she immediately stopped what she was doing to assist us without a second thought. Although I assured her we could wait, she made us a priority without making us feel like a burden. That experience set the tone for the our stay and every other person we encountered was helpful as well. I would stay here again.

Great location. Rooms are spacious. Mattress SUCKS, The bathrooms need a deep cleaning. Mold growing. Also the floors are disgusting! They have a breakfast buffet but they have so many people staying with a small area with the actual buffet. It was a hot mess all weekend we never got to actually try the breakfast it was always a long line and staff couldn’t keep up with having enough food out. That was disappointing. I suggest trying a new system for busy weekends like this weekend.

Myself, my Aunt and Uncle, and my best friend all stayed here in the Queen suite. We want to give a special 10 out of 5 Stars to the kitchen personnel Cate for her outstanding hospitality, amazing consideration, and just outstanding personality. Thank you Cate for just being you! Absolutely great professionalism!!!

When I say our family of 4 was impressed, that is an understatement. I was blown away by the spacious room. Traveling with kids we truly appreciated a full kitchen, eating area, and Drawers for storage! From checkin to complimentary breakfast everything about our stay was perfection. We have already shared our experience with friends back home and will definitely be returning in the future. Reasonable rates for what is included and a bonus for Tickets to the parks! Just phenomenal experience overall. Cleanliness and great location.

This hotel is simply not cared for by the owners. They are content to take your money and provide a deeply negative experience in return. The whole building smells of mildew, and the room we had had black mold visible all throughout the room. Our AC unit could barely cool the room and was dripping condensation. The furniture in the room looks like it has been through a war. Every surface is scratched, dented, or nicked. The carpets are filthy. The beds do not have protective covers, and the sheets and blankets are thread bare.

After seeing the deplorable state of the hotel, we opted not visit the pool since we questioned the hygiene based on the neglected state of the property.

The hotel was barely staffed, and when the building lost power on the first night of our stay, we received no communication from the hotel in any way, even after the event. I had to wander the halls in the darkness looking for an staff member to ensure there wasn't a greater emergency in play. When I found the employee, they told me that they were going to notify guests, but decided not too because it would be too much effort.

If you are headed to this area, find a different property to stay at. Twenty years ago, our family stopped patronizing Marriott properties due to negative experiences like this and began to stay exclusively at Hilton properties since Hilton will refund customers if they do not provide the promised quality. Our time at this Marriott property has renewed our commitment to remaining devoted Hilton customers. This hotel should be stripped of its Marriott brand. The fact that corporate has not done this shows that Marriott has absolutely no commitment to their customers and just wants your money without delivering on their promises.

Trying to flee from hurricane Milton, we arrived here after crawling in traffic all night for 21 hours. The room we were given were filled with larger size dogs barking on both sides that were obviously unattended which made it difficult to relax or try to sleep after our ordeal.
We are almost titanium members with Marriott, but try to avoid this member hotel and will do so in the future.

My family and I were in town to visit OWA. Our stay at TownePlace Suites was amazing. They call it a 2 star hotel, I say they need to be upgraded to a 3/4 star hotel. The staff was courteous, professional, friendly and attentive to the guest needs. Breakfast is delicious. There was zero issues navigating through the kitchen area and finding seating. I was disappointed that the bar area was closed. Hopefully it was temporary because they have a very beautiful bar that is tailored for guests whether business, vacation and or intimate settings. The pool area was clean, there wasn’t a lifeguard on duty but they made sure to keep the towels in stock. I couldn’t get a good picture of the pool area to respect the other guests privacy. Also, the facility provides gear for people with sensory issues. There was a very rowdy family in the pool area who was playing loud music. After visiting the front desk, I was loaned a pair of ANSI Standard tranquil earmuffs to cancel out the noise so I could relax as I watch my kids swim. The rooms are clean, spacious and have a mini kitchen for families who like to cook and eat inside their suite. The furniture beds and bedding are clean and in great condition. Overall this hotel has far exceeded my expectation and I will not hesitate to book again when we’re back in the area. Also, the local wildlife is a sight to see. There are lovely geckos and baby frogs. I saw where 6 baby frogs got stepped on. Not sure if it was intentional or accidental but we must do our part to protect our local wildlife ecosystem.
