Front desk customer service is terrible, always trying to price gauge the customers and turned me away multiple times to check in because I was too Early . Then tried to make me pay for 2 nights even though I would only be there for 1 night. Absolute worst customer service I’ve experienced at ANY Marriott

I recently stayed at TownePlace Suites Bellingham for my brothers wedding and was blown away by the incredible customer service. From check-in to check-out, every interaction with the staff was exceptional. Their attention to detail, friendliness, and professionalism made my stay truly memorable.

As someone who works at a Residence Inn, I have a deep appreciation for great hospitality, and the team at TownePlace Suites exceeded all my expectations. Being on the receiving end of such outstanding service felt amazing, and it’s inspired me to raise the bar even higher in my own work.

This was the pit stop I didn’t know I needed. After a couple days camping, and before catching a long flight, I stayed a night here. They have a really functional and free laundry room. Solid gym. A bar that actually stays open. Nice breakfast. I was able to do a full reset. Very nice spot.

This hotel and the Springhill Suites are the exact same hotel. No idea why it is branded twice.

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. My husband and I were travelling for personal business around a death in our family. Their hotel is welcoming, clean, and was the perfect place to rest during a difficult journey. The room has a nice sitting area, a work station and separate powder room and shower room which is especially convenient. It feels updated and well kept throughout.
We enjoyed food and drinks at the bar in the lobby where the seating was comfortable and the atmosphere was relaxing. We were happily amazed with the quality of the food! Good portions, well presented and delicious. The staff were attentive and we felt well cared for.
We had one item we did not care for during our stay and when we mentioned it, the manager very quickly fixed it for us. Classy and professional. We couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!

Room is fine, agree with another reviewer who said 4th floor rooms smell like they have been smoked in.

Housekeeping leaves something to be desired. I asked specifically to have my trash taken out after five nights, which was ignored. Coffee not replaced. I asked for fresh towels and a pile was left in the kitchen. The used towels were not removed. There is a growing towel mountain on the bathroom floor. They do the absolute minimum and therefore have not earned a tip.

The TownePlace Suites in Bellingham is a solid choice. I stayed here for one before flying out of BLI. The location is very close to the airport. The hotel is overall very clean. Upon entering my room it smelt of cooking. Housekeeping quickly came back to the room with air freshener. The hotel has covered parking below which keeps you out of the elements. I had the opportunity to utilize the fitness which was modern and up to date with matrix equipment. The property had a larger indoor pool and hot tub. The downfall with the stay was regarding the power outlets in my room. The bedside wall plugs did not work. Good size breakfast on the Springhill Suites side as the TPS side is basically abandoned.

Typical for this particular brand, however housekeeping was an issue. Pets schedule 4 days but left after 1:00 due to the dirty underwear and socks left in my room from the previous person.

We stayed in 5 different hotels during our trip from Washington St. To Vancouver. This establishment was far and away the nicest. We actually made a last minute reservation here due to an illness altering our original trip plans. They were very accommodating.|Nice sized suite (2507) complete with kitchen, two burner (Electric) stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. All utensils, silverware, plates, glasses, etc. Excellent. Bed was comfortable and has an ample size storage closet. Very nice.|Breakfast was ample. Served in an nice sized dining area next to the lobby. Three hot selections and really anything else you need in the way of bagels, cereal, etc. Onsite mini store at the reception area. An added bonus was food service (Small menu but nice selection) which we took to our room several nights.|Nice sized gym and an indoor pool and jacuzzi and here's a surprise, on-site laundry that's included, unlike the old days when you had to bring quarters. Just a dollar for a single use box of detergent from the hotel store.|The hotel is in a quiet area of Bellingham, Food establishments and a grocery store (Fred Meyer) are really close by.|Overall a great, comfortable stay. Thanks to the staff for all their courtesy.|
