Ms. Val was amazing! She knows so much about this area and the history of Montgomery. I learned more from her in 30 minutes about MLK and the history there than I had ever before. This place is definitely worth a visit, so put it on your places to go if visiting Montgomery.

Just completed our private Civil Rights tour with Ms. Val! OUTSTANDING is the best way to describe our experience. Ms. Val is personable, knowledgeable and totally equipted to guide you through the toils and snares of Montgomery's role in the Civil Rights Movement. I recommend this tour!

Ms Val is the best. We are visiting from Ohio and didn't know much about the area. Her shop is located just down the street from the King home. She was extremely charming and knowledgeable about all things Montgomery. She took us on a short tour. I learned a lot in a short period of time.

Her shop is a treasure as well. Lots of good things to buy. I highly recommend her shop. Ms Val is a former Lt Colonel with the Alabama Guard. Thank you for your service.

Tours of Montgomery is a wonderful place to see some of the best-unknown stories of the Civil Rights and Centennial Hill area. Even though I live in the city there is so much to learn, and Ms. Val has done an amazing job sharing what she knows! Head to her shop as well for a pretty substantial variety of items to commemorate your time in Montgomery!

Today I was reading a historical marker near this shop. Val, the lady who has this business, saw us and came out and told us all about the neighborhood.
