I cannot say enough great things about Kai and team. We selected Hawaiian package: chicken, tri-tip, seared ahi tacos, Hawaiian rice, green beans (no mushrooms), fruit and rolls. The chicken was very tasty, the meat so tender and the ahi was so good! Set up was on time and there was plenty of food for everyone! The entertainment was way better than I ever could have expected! I'm so very, very happy about the whole night. I highly recommend Touch of Paradise Catering! Thank you Kai and team!

You get what you pay for.
My wife booked our granddaughter's birthday event catering services through Touch of Paradise. She spoke with and emailed everything with Kai. We had many questions and requirements, and Kai addressed them all very professionally.

We decided on a child friendly menu that would also satisfy all of our adult guests. This included beverages.

Day of the event:
The staff (2) arrived early! We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly, yet efficiently they setup all of their grilling equipment and service tables.

Our guests absolutely loved all of the food. They gave us many compliments throughout the event. They provided plenty of fresh food the entire time they were there.

We added a couple extra side dishes, just in case a guest, or two with strict diets showed. We also added additional beverages for the same reason. Since it was an outdoor event, in the middle of summer (Aug. 10th), we made sure there were plenty of backup hydration options for our guests.

Overall, the event was a complete success and it must be noted that Touch of Paradise Catering was instrumental. Their staff made sure food was being prepared fresh and constant throughout our event. They were courteous and polite when they interacted with our guests.

My wife is very particular when it comes to service and is quick to point out deficiencies. This was ONE time she did not have a single negative aspect to bring attention to.

We considered several catering companies and options, but ultimately decided to go with Touch of Class. We saw their open and realistic approach to catering and this sealed the deal. Everything went according the plan:
*Pricing
*Menu
*Add-ons
*Staffing
*Timing (arrival, setup, service and breakdown/departure)
*Volume and quantity

We will certainly call on them for future events and confidently recommend them.

Touch of Paradise Catering was professional and on time with their service and food. Kai was super friendly and helpful through the whole booking and responding right away. He even helps us to find a server very last minute to help out in setting up tables. His crew were arriving and setting up right on time. The food was delicious and perfect portion for our guests. I would give it 10 out of 10 on pricing and service. Recommend to book them for your wedding event.

I wouldn't recommend this place. I had a bad feeling when, the day before, he didn’t even remember our order, so I had to remind him twice. He charges for every little thing, so save your money and don’t pay extra for the decor. He also forgot to list some items on the invoice, which we had to add at the last minute.

The major issues started when all my other vendors set up with ez ups , but his team didn’t. I called him to express how unprofessional his team appeared, and he said it would cost extra for them to use an ez-up tent, suggesting instead that they work under our tent. He also dismissed our 50-person party as 'small,' saying the food would go fast, etc. He was very rude and took no accountability for any mistakes.

To make matters worse, the chicken kabobs were inedible, with a texture like cotton balls—yes, cotton balls. It was as if they boiled the chicken or did something else equally terrible, and everyone complained about it. The only decent dish was the pork ribs, but that’s it. I paid $17.50 per person, and it wasn’t worth it.

Perfect, perfect, perfect!! Touch of Paradise was recommended to me by my friend at work who has used their services for a variety of corporate functions. I reached out to them with very little notice and thankfully they had availability to cater the food with drop-off service.

We ordered food for 80 people - roasted chicken, tri-tip with au jus, asparagus, potatoes au gratin, green salad with Italian and ranch, and bread and butter. People RAVED about the food. It was delicious!

Food arrived on-time, with hot dishes still being hot. Everything packaged well and looked appetizing. They even sent forks, knives, plates, and napkins, which I wasn't expecting.

Kai was always available by text, phone. or email for my many questions, and absolutely accommodated all of my needs.

WOW ! I had a 65th birthday/retirement party for my hubby yesterday. We love Hawaii and I wanted Hawaiian food. I found Touch of Paradise in my search for caterers. I called Kai and since I had already looked over the menus on the website, he made it very easy for the booking process. His communication is excellent. His staff was amazing and the food was just to die for. All of my guests loved it. Has a surprise for my husband, I also booked the Hawaiian dancers. Talk about professional, they were entertaining, amazing, funny and generally got the crowd going! I struck gold when I found Touch of paradise! Thank you Kai and staff!!!

We recently had a 50th Anniversary Party catered by Touch of Paradise. It was absolutely perfect. We had the best coconut shrimp, meatballs and spring rolls appitizer along with a wonderful teriyaki chicken, pork and all the fixings meal. Kai's staff were professional, showed up early, served and cleaned up perfectly. The absolute hit of our evening was the luau entertainment provided at Kai's suggestion. The dancers and fire knife show was fabulous. Kai was wonderful to contract with and very responsive. It was truly a night to remember. Thank you Touch of Paradise. Linda K.

Touch of Paradise catered the Fullerton Senior Club Annual Meeting and Christmas Party. We were so very happy with all aspects in dealing with this company. Food was delicious servers were excellent and our members were happy. We had close to 140 people at the event. I recommend them to all.
