I just had a very bad experience picking up a delivery order at this restaurant. The owner didn’t believe me when I said the name on the order, had me show my phone to him, and I swiped pick up and it still wasn’t enough. He said now confirm the order & I said no one has be do this before I leave. He then said then no order. There was only 1 customer in the restaurant at 8pm & the he said I could leave & he’d call the police.

It’s not Ok to treat people that deliver his food badly!

I will never eat at this restaurant nor recommend it to my friends because of the owner’s rude & demeaning behavior towards me.

Came back for lunch and this place is 100% a must go. The service is expectional and the sushi is some the best I've had. Had the Stinky Roll and by far it's my favorite.

The salmon roll and beef miso soup were good. The salmon seemed very fresh and had a good texture. There was a decent amount of beef in the soup.
The wait staff seemed very eager for us to order and also the clear the table while we were still eating. I think it would be better if they were a little more patient

We went here the other day for lunch and I had the most excellent Ahi Poke salad ever! It was huge so it lasted two meals. I can't wait to go back and have it again!

My favorite sushi place ever! I moved out of Aliso Viejo and I haven’t been able to find another place that matches Tomo! The menu has really creative dishes that I haven’t been able to find anywhere else. The Baked Scallop Roll and the Dynamite Roll with the baked langoustine on top are amazing!

Some of the best sushi I have ever had, which is saying a lot. I have eaten sushi many places and finding one this close to home is great. I heard their Miso was good so I wanted to try a large bowl. It's OK, could have been hotter like their green tea was. The Crab Apetizer was really good with the whole soft shell crab split. We will be coming here often as it's close to work and home.

Service was fast and prices quite reasonable for fresh fish, though the rolls were a bit bland. The space is clean and parking was ample (mostly 30 minute spots). Conveniently located in OC.
