This has always been one of my favorite places when I used to live in Wheeling, so when my best friend’s birthday was yesterday, we came in and Danny was our server. He provided spectacular service and conversation, and was very knowledgeable about menu items. Very pleasant and polite!

Sports bar galore. Large screen tvs all over. Small game area for kids. Get do weekly bets on college and pro football games. Food was good. Good sized portions. Friendly staff.

Amazing experience. We came in on Superbowl Sunday and we're celebrating my oldest son's 24th birthday at the same time. We were given a dessert on the house for his birthday. The waitress and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing, and the half time buffet was amazing as well. Will definitely be coming in again as soon as we are paid. Waitress was named Kate

I did not eat at TJs. I just stopped over from the hotel across the street to have a pint and relax after a 10 hour drive. Prices were good but the selection wasn't earth-shattering. I'm old, so probably my fault, but waitress asked if I wanted another pint to which I replied, "I'm good." To me that means, no thanks, will take the bill and be on my way - but I was presented with a fresh pint.... OK - only an oldster would complain about that.... Several beers were cheaper than a single French fry near the DC area, so value was top notch. Nice local folks to talk to as well. Atmosphere was 4-5 - no sports on per se, so didn't really get to become absorbed in any games. Lots of pool tables and such, so I suspect it's a great place to go on special(s) nights. Worth a stop in!

This was one of my favorites when I was back in college 20 years ago. So I stopped with my kids after visiting the Good Zoo. Still as delicious and friendly! My kids loved the popcorn when they sat down. Staff was attentive and friendly.

I recently started going to this place regularly. I am not a big sports or bar fan, but I do enjoy this place. The service has always been fantastic when I go. The food is always good. They also give you free popcorn, which is very unique and quirky. The only main issue that I have with it is that it can be too loud at times. They have a small arcade and there are always sports on the TV.

My waiter Danny was phenomenal. The atmosphere was fun as the best I can describe. The food was fine. I liked my burger. Will go back to try other items and ask for Danny to be my waiter.

Ok....I've never been here but my wife wanted to try it. I'll give you the Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
First the good-
the kids enjoyed the arcade games... those that didn't eat our money, and the TV was huge --crazy huge. Kids meals were a good value. The double fudge ice cream cake was awesome.
And the bad..
The breading on onion rings would not stay on so I got a pile of breading and onions... the wings were overcooked in dirty grease- too dry to eat. Loaded tots were good, but 8 bucks for 12-15 tater tots with cheese on them is steep.
Now the ugly.....
when we asked the hostess for a high chair for our baby she said she didn't know if they had any went back to her Podium and stood there. I walked around the restaurant and found one myself. We never once got refills. My $14 Philly cheese steak was a 6-in sub bun with canned mushrooms on and some roast beef that you can get at Walmart for $3 a pound. If I saw it ahead of time I wouldn't have paid $5 for it. I know things have went up in cost but $13 for eight wings is grossly over exaggerated. I eat wings at least 4 to 5 days a week -when buying them at the store raw I can get 24 wings for 11$. I understand the increase in wages and supply chain costs but $77 for a meal that wasn't worth $40 is a bit much. My voice is my money and i hope y'all trust it-- atmosphere great, food not great, value - terrible.

Go up
