I had soup for lunch and side dish of pulled pork. I met a friend there. Nice atmosphere and service; however they don’t even have gluten free buns nor bread! For those of us with a wheat allergy it is difficult dining out. Most people think it’s just some fad diet “gluten free” but I can assure you that it is a lifestyle and a health concern more than anything. I hope to be able to visit again and try dinner.

Timber House Brewery is a true gem located in Chester, CA next to the hotel. We were greeted and seated right away. It was a rather warm day so we opted to sit inside but there are many tables available for outdoor dining also. Our drinks were served quickly and orders delivered as ordered. The food was very good. My husband had the special, teriyaki burger, and I had a half Caesar with salmon. The salmon was seasoned perfectly and not overcooked. We will definitely make the 2 hour drive and come back here again. We also watched people playing Corn Hole outside just beyond where the outdoor tables were. Great place to relax and enjoy great food. Our server, Jason, did a fantastic job!!

This place is great. I stayed in the motel and the restaurant was a bonus. I was there for two nights and I think my room was called the lumberjack room. It may have been bigger than the others. It felt like an apartment. I really like what they did with the place. Has a lot of character in a local touch. If you’re looking for a chain, Motel, this is not it. Check in was easy. Contactless. They sent me a text with the code to open the door. Easy. The restaurant across the street was phenomenal. I had a New York strip with mashed potatoes and a light of beer, check the nights at the restaurant is open. I think they’re closed a couple nights a week. I would definitely stay here again.

What a treat to stay in such a uniquely decorated and centrally located lodge! Loved every part of it. We stayed in the Gypsy Soul suite and it was roomy, very clean, quite, and decorated nicely. The Timber House restaurant and bar being next door was a great added bonus. Nice bar, good food and great service. We already made our reservation for next year!

We stayed in the motel and also enjoyed the restaurant. The decor in the motel is so fun and I fell in love with the place the minute I walked in. Our room, Rebel Heart, was cozy and comfy. The little electric fireplace added to the fun. There were plenty of nice amenities and towels and the bed was super comfy. There were some earplugs for us when we arrived but we did not need them. All was quiet.||The restaurant was also a winner with great decor and fabulous service. The bartender sure knows how to make a good drink! The sea bass was very good, nicely prepared. It was such a treat to have such a great place right across the parking lot from our room!

Rooms are beautifully decorated and individually designed with their own theme. The restaurant on site is helpful for being able to not travel around while traveling to find food. Food is always exceptionally tasteful, and the brewery adds character to this beautiful town. Stores near by make it easy for quick needs to be met. 5outta5

I have been wanting to try this place for a while now and last night was my first time and it did not disappoint! We came on the busy holiday weekend and were able to get a table outside in the shade. Outside seating was very comfortable outdoor padded patio furniture, there were fun games for the kids to play while we waited for food which was great to keep them entertained. Food was excellent! I had the Alfredo, my hubby had the filet and my friends had the prawns pasta dish and a salmon dish. One thing that stood out to us, we had asked for a drink that wasn’t something normally made and initially were told that it wasn’t something that could be made, it wasn’t really a big deal as there were other tasty cocktails on the menu but the manager or maybe the owner (not sure) over heard this came back and surprised us with the drink at no charge! Very nice touch especially on a busy weekend! Definitely recommend this place and will be back again. Thank you Timber house for an excellent experience
