When I first moved to Alaska, I decided to join because I wanted to get my daughter out and meet new people. I can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed it here! The community is fantastic, and the classes are just amazing. So many different kinds of classes offered. Sonya and her team really know what they’re doing. I never realized how much I needed yoga in my life until now. My knees, which used to feel so tight, have improved so much, and I’m even more flexible than ever—though I have to admit, that’s not saying much! Plus, during our long polar nights, it has been a lifesaver. It’s been wonderful to have something uplifting to do, even when it’s dark outside. I'm really grateful for Tides Yoga!

A beautiful experience @ a beautiful studio. Brought my high school yoga class to Tides so the kids could enjoy a studio experience. Tides yoga staff was accommodating to each individual, including our student with special needs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping to make this memory for them.

I've attended Tides since 2020 and I always know I'm going to get a great workout and a confidence boost after every class! The instructors all know the balance between pushing yourself to see results and also listening to your body to avoid injury. It feels like a little family. Love being a Tides member!

If you are looking for an amazing yoga studio look no further. From the moment you attend your first class each and every person welcomes you as if you are their family coming home after being away on adventure. This welcoming energy grows into you becoming a part of the family. Then comes the actual class. Each instructor welcomes you by name and takes the time to set you up for success. First time doing it fear not the instructors will take time to help you with each new pose or dance move. They keep the classes intentionally small to allow for each student to learn, grow, and blossom into the best version of themselves while feeling as if they are the only student in class. It is truly magical!

This is such a great yoga studio that offers more than yoga. Check out their current schedule! I personally like aerial, restorative, mobility and sculpt classes. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming for all fitness levels. Instructors are top notch. Decor is warm, inviting, and relaxing. Come check it out!
