The first time we stayed here was the week of spring break and all of the things inside the waterpark was working. However, their website said that the room we have (2 double beds) will have a microwave and when we got there, there was nothing. So we had to bring down all of our frozen food to the cafe and have the cafe guy warm it up for us (he warmed it for 4 people and was nice about it). I asked the front desk if we can get a microwave and they said they have no extras available.

The second time we stayed was the beginning of spring break. While we were aware that the waterpark park isn't fully open till 4 pm (open 4-9pm they said) on Thursday when we checked in, they told us over the phone that the basketball pool and hot tub will be open. Come Thursday, we went in the waterpark at 4 and looked around and it was open but one staff (with bushy hair) blew a whistle at my parent telling him to come out and 5 minutes later, people came in and he did not blow a whistle at him and didn't say anything. That Thursday they opened only until 8 which was contrary to what we were told. Also, the hot tub did not work, no jets. We asked the lifeguard and they said they have to reset the motor in the basement but they did not do it. Friday when everything was supposed to be open, the hot tub still did not have the jets, and the whirlpool remained shut. Then that day, their pizza place inside the waterpark had an extremely long wait, the staff had to put in every customer's credit card number and that took forever. The shelves were almost empty.

Our room did not have a coffee maker or soap. We had to ask the cleaning ladies for soap and paper towel because of the not wanting to deal with the unhappy staff at the front desk.

The biggest issue we had this second time we were here was the amount of chlorine, all of us had rashes, the kids had them the worst having sensitive skin. the rash did not go away soon despite the creams we used to soothe it. When I did the laundry, I had to wash all of our swim clothes twice because they reek of chlorine.

Another downside is that the front desk staff don't have a happy disposition when talking to us. They looked so stressed instead of showing some enthusiasm. It seems that they are "carrying so much weight" to be just sitting their in front. They seriously need to at least put on a smile. When we ask for something, we get a frowny face. Mind you, we went to the Discover Cranberries museum and every single staff there was top notch in terms of customer service and we made sure we tipped every single one of those that helped us!

Stayed at the resort, not in a villa. First night, no food at bar or restaurant due to employees walking out. Water Park was busy but we were able to find a table and a double tube. We ate at the pizza place in the park area, they were understaffed and busy due to the restaurant and bar being closed, pizza was good but they seemed to be out of a lot of their beverages. Indoor outdoor hot tub was out of commission, smaller corner hot tub was packed with small children and jets were broken. Second night restaurant and bar were open with very limited menu, cash only as their POS system was down. Arcade was fun, over half the games were out of order, costs lots of credits for minimal tickets in return. Elevator was very shaky entering each floor. Overall, this was less than adequate. We've been here once before in 2023 and it was a totally different experience. Great for a quick trip with the kids but would not recommend for longer than a weekend.

Unfortunately I echo so many of the reviews before me - I'd give zero stars if I could. Rented a villa for spring break - hour late check in due to housekeeping staff walking out. Learned kitchen staff also walked out (zero dining options on property because pizza was closed by the time we settled in.) Villa was not clean - we had to sweep before entering. Dirty dishes in dishwasher. No drinking glasses at all (probably a blessing.) Kitchen chair ready to fall apart so we put it on the back deck. Bedroom on main floor had a quilt shoved under the bed with various items from previous guests - including a spit bottle from someone's chewing tobacco habit. Upstairs the twin beds did not have sheets that covered the sides of the mattresses and we found a bug in the bed. At this point, I had enough and went to the front desk. Noah was accommodating and helpful. Offered us hotel rooms in the main "lodge." Upon entering one room, it was over 80 degrees. Walked over to the other side of the joining room and found bed begs under the pillow. The bed bugs were confirmed by the front desk. At this point, we were no longer interested in staying at all so we repacked the car and headed to the Holiday Inn in Tomah, which is very nice btw. Theresa, the manager at Three Bears, called me the next day and completely refunded my stay. She was very nice and I feel for her. The rigamarole we had to deal with at 10:30pm with a 5 year old and handicap elder was not pleasant. I hope management regains control of this resort as so many past reviews said they were repeat guests. But at this point, there is a lot of work to be done and I would suggest finding somewhere else to stay.

IF you must go, know this:|-bring all your own food. The restaurants aren't open except a crappy pizza place, that literally only has pizza, inside the waterpark, where they don't even have a credit card machine (my mans was typing in my CC info into a computer slower than molasses). The sports bar and main restaurant weren't open due to staffing, as well as the coffee / snack area our entire stay. There are NO options for food, so bring your own.||-bring your own towels and lifejackets. Their website incorrectly states there are lifejackets and they have maybe 50 towels on hand? so they're constantly running out, saying 'they're in the dryer! 5 minutes!', then 5 min later the new towels are all taken. What a joke. Also, its freezing in there so you'll want a towel bigger than those napkins anyway.||-front desk staff lady is mean as all get out! I was yelled at after asking where the breakfast buffet is. "MY COOK DIDNT SHOW UP, OK?!" umm ok, sorry.||-slides at the waterpark were closed most of our day there. A lifeguard said they have a city inspector visit and that's why, so I assume they don't have enough lifeguards to be legal to operate the slides? That sounds safe. ha.||so, don't do it man. don't do it.||thanks for coming to my ted talk

Absolutely horrible experience. Didn't have our room ready at 4pm. They switched our room to get us into one because I had 2 screaming, tired toddlers first switch had a family in it, so they switched us rooms again. That room also had a family in it. Finally we got into a room by almost 6pm. Lots of items sold out, water park dirty and front desk staff was rude. Expect "Noah". He was the only competent one. Pay almost 300 dollars for a room and only accomodation given was a pizza voucher. We will never ever be back.

I have so many good things to say about our trip to the Three Bears Resort. We went mid-January with a 10 year old and 1 year old. Check in on Friday evening went smoothly and our two Queen suite room was clean and spacious. The kitchenette was missing a microwave but the front desk sent one up without a problem. The waterpark is the perfect size for kids- a lot to do but not too big that I was uncomfortable with my 10 year old swimming with friends while i went to the hot tub. The arcade was a lot of fun other than a few out of order games and lost tokens (which is to be expected from time to time at an arcade). We brought our own food so I can't comment on the restaurants, other than that the adults in our group were going to get take out from the 1878 Restaurant one night and they were only serving a buffet. So we got delivery from The Pines (local restaurant) and it was great. ||This will be our new spot for a quick getaway!

Overall our experience was good. Unfortunately, with the change in ownership recently, there were some hiccups.
The restaurant wasn't fully staffed with a cook, so Friday night the kitchen wasn't open. The following night they had a small burger menu that from what we are told was just okay. We requested more room towels and never got them. We ran out of toilet paper and didn't have an extra roll so we grabbed some from the bathroom in the hallway. We had an extended room with 2 tvs, but only had 1 remote which was pretty inconvenient.
The Waterpark had limited towels and they were so small. Each day we were there they didn't have any pool towels, but we'd find a stranded unused one on a vacant chair. The inner tubes were scarce. And some were flat with holes in them. We went upstairs to get a snack and they only had pizza available-- sort of. It's was almost an hour wait. Behind that counter was bare and only had alcohol. And 1 pizza slice in the warmer. No menu available, but banners in the Waterpark that state they serve hotdogs and other snacks/drinks.

The new owners seem to be trying to work out the kinks and want to get things running smoothly again and through all of this, every staff member we came in contact with was wonderful, apologetic and tried to be as helpful.

Well… this place was supposed to be a spring break getaway for the night for my family of 4. I have talked to Noah, a couple of times. To make sure that my reservation was correct (did it online), and made a reservation for a cabana. He made it clear that we have the cabana. All we had to was to check in front desk and get it. Well. My family of 4 finally made it. Saturday morning we wanted to get our cabana and enjoy the water park before check in. We talked to the 3 women at the front desk. ALL THE CABANAS WERE TAKEN!! How could that be? We made the reservation!! We talked to Noah!! Everything was good over the phone. The woman with the mustache wasn’t very friendly. She couldn’t help us out. She couldn’t even get us checked in early for their screw up!! If I could do 0 stars, I would. This place doesn’t deserve any stars. They need better training for their customer service skills for sure. Don’t waste your money!! Don’t waste your time.

My family did check out the resort and checked out the waterpark indoors. There was no where to set our things. This was around 11:30 am. We thought we could have had a whole new experience at a different water park. But this place just showed us, a lot of the indoor water parks, don’t have good customer service.

We decided to go back to Cranberry Country Lodge. We stayed here for 2 nights. Then called them to see if there was anything available for our last night stay in Wisconsin. They are amazing!! We got another night!! They have accommodated with open arms with an early check in for the problems we had to deal with at Three Bears Resort.
