Turtle Beach is a quiet place nestled in the trees on the banks of the San Joaquin River. The staff were always available for questions and wanted to make sure your stay was the best it could be. If you would like a quite spot for some relaxing time yet close enough for nice time out in the town with your family. I would recommend spending it here at Turtle Beach. 🐢

You're 100% Valuable! I found the grass perfect for comfortable tent camping. I love the beach and large river at the campsite. The highway is audible at night and a train drives past in the morning. I like the large willow trees. I like the internet available at the station.

We had a fantastic week-long stay at Turtle Beach! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They have the best facilities and the Rangers are very accommodating and helpful. They have many private shower stalls that are always clean and in great condition. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking to plug in or tent camp!!

Pam is great, made us feel like family! Camping is so easy, ample space, nice beach. Mike helped us when we needed newbie advise. Dogs were safe, and welcome. River is right there! Loved it!!!thanks Pam.we had a nice time, park is clean and safe and fun!

Terrific!! The staff at Turtle Beach are really nice and very helpful. The park is centrally located with easy access to several activities. They have been working on the roads putting in fresh gravel and repairing potholes. This is a very well maintained Park.

Friendly and active staff, Clean and well kept camp ground, Decent phone signal (T-Mobile), Mostly Quiet.

We stayed in a full hookups spot (50 amp) across from the horse-shoe toss. The staff here is very friendly and present at all times. They keep a very neat camp ground (if you want a place where your dogs can run free, this isn't it). Our time here was quiet, but on occasion you can hear train horns in the distance, even at night. The only complaint I have is the public road leading up to the camp ground. The trees are so low hanging, that if your RV or trailer is over 12 feet tall, you're going to scrape, like we did.
All in all, we had a great stay, and will come back.

We live in Placerville and have family in the Bay Area. We are getting a little older and don’t want to make the long drive back and forth. We have a trailer and decided to look for a place to stay.

We found this lovely rv park. Our site was in section D. It was large, level, and we had a nice view. The grounds were very nice. The employees were always driving around cutting branches, mowing, and moving water. You can tell they take pride in the park.

We will definitely come back again.
