A very simple yet charming place to stay! They have thought of everything for your comfort. Much of the furnishing is period, but the comfort items are well thought out and appropriate. The mattress was wonderful! Everything is first rate and very neat and clean. Centrally located within walking distance of several quality restaurants and town center.

Great location! You are within walking distance to everything. The doorknobs and locks were a little tricky, but we figured them out. Suite 3 has everything you need, including a small kitchen area. However, I couldn’t find silverware. Bathroom is new and very nice. Floors throughout are original (very neat), just be careful as I tripped in a few spots. The bed was super uncomfortable, I tossed all night. A new mattress or a good mattress topper is very much needed! I still gave 5 stars because the bed was the only negative.

This has to be the best Inn I have ever stayed in which says a lot being I travel all over the US and love to explore what little towns have to offer. For starters communication was top notch. The entire place was immaculate and tastefully decorated. We had suite #3 that had a very nice size living room/kitchen. VERY Clean. I can't emphasize that enough because I've stayed in places who think historical should be grungy. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets were so soft. The owner definitely went beyond by offering a small accessible fridge with soda and some wine. It was so yummy after a long work day at an event we had. Definitely looking forward to our next visit.

There are lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance which was really cool. We walked to The Asylum, that's another must stop in this town. Very friendly staff and great beer tap selection.

Do not pass up this opportunity if you are traveling in this area. You will not be disappointed.

SN. Road noise is a little loud at some points depending on traffic at night. It has original glass windows so they are thin but nothing you can't handle. If you are a light sleeper I suggest taking some ear buds.

This is a true review. You can check out my travels here for maybe other places you're interested in. 🙂

The Thomas Rose Inn is absolutely lovely, from top to bottom. Rooms are nicely decorated to the period, with luxurious touches that modernize the experience. The soft pink tones in the rooms are a nice change from a world steeped in grey. Drapes were mono-chromatic and soft to the touch. Special touches like vintage dishes, carnival glass, and colonial chandeliers add charm and warmth. I felt completely at home. No staff on site but always accessible. Complimentary wine and beverages available at your leisure. The location is ideal and walkable to shops and restaurants. Its quaint, its quiet and its a quality stay!

My husband, aunt, and I visited Lewisburg for a long weekend, and we absolutely loved our stay at the Thomas Rose Inn. My husband and I stayed in suite 3 and my aunt stayed in suite 2 and both rooms were absolutely lovely. Everything was tastefully decorated and the rooms were very clean. The inn is perfectly located in the center of town, making it easy to walk around. There is off-street parking that is easily accessible. Paula was also very helpful and answered any questions we had. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

We had the entire inn, which consists of 3 rooms. Each room had wonderful antiques, comfy beds and nice bathrooms with plush towels. The upstairs bedroom has a towel warmer! There is a larger upstairs room with an adjoining sitting area and full kitchen, and the downstairs room was absolutely perfect for my mother, who has mobility issues because she did not have to any steps. She did have a little difficulty navigating the claw foot tub, but it did work out. There are plenty of thoughtful touches about like an ice maker and complementary beverages, waters and coffees. Highly recommend!

This is a very charming and inviting place to stay. The historic building has been tastefully renovated to provide modern conveniences without losing any of it's "old world" charm. Rooms are large and very comfortable and everything was super clean. Location is perfect within an easy walk of the restaurants and shops of downtown. Paula provided excellent directions and check-in, check-out via texted entry codes was super easy. We would absolutely stay here again!
