I have always cherished this special little spot to gather with friends and loved ones for a beautiful & tasty meal. Some of my most special moments have been spent here at White House Cafe from birthday gatherings, to baby showers, and bridal showers. I booked a private party for my sister’s bridal shower and the team went above and beyond to make it a perfect afternoon. The ambiance, table set up, drinks, food, cake, and every little detail was just perfect. We showed up and did not decorate a single thing because it was already so perfectly done by the White House Cafe gals. I can not rave about this place and the team enough. Highly recommend for a casual breakfast daye, private event, or lunch with friends!

I came for breakfast with my wife and we liked the place. I had the special and I enjoyed my meal, they could definitely go easy on the white powder sugar but everything was great. The only thing was that there was only one waiter and she seemed swamped but kept all her tables happy.
I also requested a wine but when she came back she told me they didn't have it available and gave me and my wife a complementary cookie.

Oh boy where do I even begin! This place has become such a special tradition for me my family and my friends! I even proposed to my wife here. White house cafe is as friendly as they are easy as the atmosphere is cozy. It is all peak! Their food has the presentation of a very fancy restaurant, but unlike a fancy restaurant their portions are generous. I don't know how, but their food tastes better than it looks and it already looks amazing! I could go on for days and days, but if you haven't yet, and you find yourself reading this, do yourself a favor and go to white house cafe for breakfast! Anytime we have family or friends in town we always take them there once to show them how amazing it is. By their own request all of them always ask to go back any following visits.

Our first time coming here and it was great. Food was delicious and the service was great. Our waiter had many tables to serve but she did not for one moment forget about us. Food had good portions.

Husband and I just finished breakfast. Best omelette we ever had. Delicious fruit , dessert, every extra detail we very much appreciated. Amazing service with a smile. A must stop to actually believe the goodness.

A few weeks ago, driving in from out of town, I found this place through the map just to grab a coffee before I took a test at the Prometric. Although I was immediately worried I had stepped into the wrong place (I strongly prefer local, independent cafes instead of chains) because it was a lovely, well decorated restaurant, I was immediately assured that everything was ok and served with a perfect cup of coffee to go.

Today, I called ahead asked if I could do a quick study session before another test. There aren’t a lot of independent cafes around there, and I really did like the coffee and hoped they wouldn’t mind be being a weirdo.

Let me just say, although I’m pretty sure I’m the only person who has ever used it for a study session (although they took great care of me and I passed!) - it’s much more suitable for a friendly brunch - the food looks too delicious (I was jealously eyeing my neighbors’ food). The coffee I can say is definitely great!

That said, I can say the service is incredible - so friendly and warm, and the atmosphere is Americana encapsulated. I really appreciate the thoughtful details not only in the decoration and setting, but also in the service. Cucumber water (with fresh cukes) and lovely ice cubes!!

I really appreciated them accommodating me, and they are my first choice for breakfast next time I’m in Yakima. Please give them all your business!!

The perfect spot for breakfast! My friends and I were in town for work and decided to give this place a try…the food was delicious and the service was excellent! Highly recommend.

Had never been in Yakima and was in town for a day, read the reviews and decided to give it a try.

Great sandwiches and soup. We had the pumpkin bread (seasonal) and it was delicious! If you're in the mood for a sandwich in a very cozy vibe this is your place. Apparently breakfast is also great.

Our waitress was super attentive and gave us recommendations.
