I loved the place and location. I always enjoy Westin bed and the comforter feeling. I liked the free gift of water bottle to help with the environment. My only complaint was there was not very hot water coming to the bath so I can have a bath. It was arm but not hot enough to make a bath. Breakfast was cute and healthy small buffet. Nice walk to downtown Palo Alto. Next to the train station and also close to Stanford campus

Decent hotel; expensive but it’s Palo Alto so….par for the course. It didn’t seem like a Westin though - tiny lobby, no restaurant other than a less than mediocre and expensive breakfast buffet.

Workout facility was pretty nice, with a good selection of machines and weights.

The rooms are nice and spacious, and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was also very nice, with a big shower and separate bath tub. It was quite a hike from the elevator though.

Location is nice, close to the gorgeous Stanford campus and downtown PA.

Overall this is a decent hotel but IMO not up to what I’ve come to expect from the Westin brand. It seems that Hilton hasn’t done the brand any favors.

Loved this place! I was able to check in early. It was very clean and stylish. The rooms are perfect and relaxing. They have chocolates/free biscotti/water in the lobby. Staff were great. The location is perfect - walking distance to both stanford and downtown palo alto.

Great location just a few minutes from bus and train station and close to shopping centre with CVS and trader Joe's. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, the hotel offers free water at all times. But the staff are the absolute star of the show. Travelling with a small child makes life a bit complicated during holidays but the staff were absolutely lovely, most accommodating and absolutely incredible. Would return and absolutely recommend!
Thank you to all the staff for making our stay special!

I had a wonderful stay at Westin Palo Alto!

My partner and I went there to celebrate our anniversary, and the experience was incredible. The staff was incredibly friendly, preparing a beautiful room with warm welcome gifts that made us feel so appreciated. Our room had a great view and a lovely balcony—it was beautifully designed, spacious, and extremely comfortable.

The location is fantastic! Nestled in the heart of Palo Alto near Stanford, it offers a blend of sophisticated city life and tranquil natural atmosphere. During our stay, we embraced the best of Palo Alto — visiting the Filoli Garden, unwinding at a Pilates studio, enjoying movie nights, and exploring Stanford University. The Stanford Shopping Center and University Avenue was perfect for a city walk, lined with charming cafés, boutique shops.

A huge thank you to the entire team (Liam Stanley and the front desk team) for making our stay so memorable, I appreciate the outstanding service and hospitality. I can't wait to return! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic experience.

After a mixed experience in early November, this time I had a great experience at the Westin in Palo Alto. From the moment I checked-in, the staff was attentive and friendly. A special thank you to Jenny and Tony from Front Desk, as well as Oscar – they were passionate, professional and cared about the guests.|| ||Overall, the décor and ambiance of the Westin Palo Alto were very warm and cozy. The 1 bedroom fireplace suite was comfortable, and the fireplace in the sitting area/living room area offered some warmth and radiant heat during cold months in the Bay Area. || ||The breakfast offering for elite members was adequate and provided a great start to the day. The underground parking was a plus for rainy days. Overall, it was a short but comfortable stay.

Positive: Great room, asked for a quiet side of the hotel and had a quiet night sleep. Comfy king bed, easy parking and no additional parking fee, hotel staff very kind and welcoming, heated pool and jacuzzi, and location was great. Negative: Nothing, would stay again.

The design of the outside of the building is not good. It looks like apartments with no balcony and U shape so that you look at the windows of the other rooms. Absolutely no view and very closed in. Can't believe they charged over $500 a night. We thought we were going to stay in luxury. This is not a luxury hotel at all. I have stayed a Fair Field Inns nicer then this. The toilet is not separated ( water room) in the bathroom so if you are taking a bath or showering, no one has privacy. Vanity is extremely simple and basic. Would not stay here again for more than $200 per night . Keys to rooms don't work and elevator is extremely slow.
