This coffee shop is not a cookie cutter corporate coffee shop as stated by other reviewers. It's locally owned by Patrick who is such a nice guy, neighborhood vibes, fun staff and music.

I love the coconut cold foam latte as well as the smoked salmon panini and waffles.

This place is a must visit for anyone looking for a unique coffee experience.

The staff is always friendly and the music is always on point.

The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

The menu is diverse and offers a wide range of options for both breakfast and lunch.

The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is always high.

I've been to this coffee shop several times and I can confidently say that it's one of my favorites.

The owners are always willing to accommodate special requests and the staff is always happy to help.

The atmosphere is always lively and the music is always playing.

The coffee is always hot and fresh, and the service is always prompt.

I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a welcoming atmosphere.

Great little East side coffee shop with Level 5 Donuts from Wednesday through Sunday, so delicious and vegan too! I love the coconut cold foam latte as well as the smoked salmon panini and waffles.

Cool funky vibe and great coffee. The barista recommended a turmeric latte of some sort and though I was quite hesitant I decided to try it and am super glad I did...super good. Also, the egg, tomato and pesto sandwich was super good too, the bread could have been a bit fluffier for my preference but it was still very good.

A yeasted waffle. I could tell the second I saw it. And now I'm sold on the place forever. A place that does a yeasted waffle is unique and doing the lord's work. Additionally, my flat white (offered to me on the house as it was my first visit) was impeccable. The most immaculate shots I've had in awhile. And the playlist could not be faulted. What more do you need really?

We ordered coffee only. I had an iced pistachio latte. This was our first time visiting victory. We were unsure which flavors to order as they were not posted anywhere. When we asked our barista what flavors they had he said in a hum drum way that they only had the common flavors, you know hazelnut, vanilla etc., he rattled off pistachio as a flavor the intrigued me as I've always wanted to try but never have. Needless to say I pondered on it only a few moments if I should try or not. As I was about to say I would try the pistachio the female barista who wasn't even making our coffee said in an inpatient way, so which flavor do you want. I just thought it was rude how she was rushing us. Not friendly at all. I was unimpressed by the coffee as well.

My partner and I love this place! We’ve been here a few times and each time it’s been wonderful. We just went there today, and it was yet another wonderful experience! The barista had a line of people ordering food and drinks, yet she handled everything professionally. I even asked her questions regarding my order and she took time to politely explain everything to me despite being busy. The staff has consistently been phenomenal, food is always delicious, drinks amazing, and the atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. The Victory is quickly becoming one of our favorite spots in town! 🙂

I’ve been visiting the Victory since it opened over a dozen years ago and keep coming because it’s rooted in the neighborhood, yet remains a place unto itself with a genuine community all its own. Folks bring their children here because Patrick takes kids seriously, makes them feel welcome, and cultivates a healthy, safe place to learn to be a member of a community. It’s a cozy, ebullient, friendly oasis. The staff Patrick employs embrace that ethos. If you want a bland corporate spot for a quick caffeine fix, hate music, find personality objectionable, want to project your entitlement onto those working in or sharing the space, or if you simply don’t want to spark a friendship as you have your coffee, maybe give The Victory a pass.

Usually choosing a coffee shop, i tend to favor ones that carry the Level 5 Vegan donuts not available a lot of places. Visited today- small, but quaint, staff were super pleasant, timely service, and great latte ☺️ i can only give 4 stars though because for a latte and donut, my total after tip was $15+. My exact order at 3 other coffee shops is generally about $4 less, same tips included. Will i go back? Absolutely, but maybe foregoing the coffee route and to try some tasty vegetarian breakfast options.
