We enjoyed a lovely vacation in Laguna at The Tides. The location was perfect, walking distance to many restaurants, Pavilions, and the beautiful beach. Our room was cute, clean and quiet. We appreciated the Keurig machine and coffee. There was a small refrigerator and microwave in our room and plenty of space to put our things away. The staff left a handwritten note for us on the table with bottled water for our stay. The pool was heated and plenty of lounge chairs available. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect 👍 Room 214 upstairs had a view of the ocean, plus you could hear the waves.| |The room was clean, comfortable with a shower that had strong water pressure - nice & hot. There was shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. Mattress was firm (not hard) - great for my back. ||Functional kitchen: mini fridge, microwave, Keurig w pods, sugar, cream & bagel sized toaster.||Heated pool was nice.||Meaningful touches: warm room; 2 bottles of water; cookies; earplugs; personalized welcome note - definitely loved the note 📝 😃 ||Vehicle stayed parked. Location was convenient with everything in walking distance: beach, Heisler Park, art museum, galleries, downtown shops & eateries. There was a free trolley but walking was fun & very easy. ||Laguna Beach was festive, beautifully decorated with lights for Christmas 🎄🎄 . It was a lively, holiday atmosphere but not crowded.||We planned for 1 night but extended for 3 nights. We felt at HOME.||Anderson was an Outstanding host. He was very hospitable & accommodating to our needs.

We thought this was a wonderful little motel and a good value! The staff was super welcoming and helpful, and the rooms were renovated and very cute. Comfortable beds, Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, bottled water and lots of quaint touches like games and books. Easy covered parking and a nice little pool. Also really convenient to the beach, dining etc. Excellent front desk service and good WIFi. Highly recommended!

A wonderful place conveniently located close to everything, featuring a serene saltwater pool, a cozy fireplace, and a warm, courteous welcome. The room offers a comfortable bed, a fridge, and a good-sized shower with luxurious and nourishing Bee Shower products. There is plenty of easy parking available. Thank you to the wonderful host, Anderson, who greeted me after office hours with a genuine smile.

Our stay at the tides was wonderful. Pet friendly, affordable and charming. The King kitchenette room was spacious, bed was super comfy and A/C was so cold. A 5-10 min walk from the beach and food (highly recommend Asada Tacos). The only cons we experienced were the stomping from our upstairs neighbors and an occasional sulfur smell from the sinks. All in all, we would visit again.

For what this is – a renovated motel – it’s very good. Rooms are spacious, well appointed, very clean. Really appreciated the decent quality in-room coffee. Plumbing is old, as to be expected. Overall, good value in the local context

Best Hotel for the value, parking and convenience! The management showed true customer service! It was Extremely clean and comfortable….and the heated pool and fireplace was just right after a day of shopping and beach! They even wrote a hand written welcome note!

What a gem of a find. Yes...it's a bit dated but I can't say enough great things about the staff. The location is perfect. Close to Heisler beach but a healthy walk to Main Beach and all the action. Beach towels, umbrellas and beach chairs are available. The pool was delicious. The bed and linens were so comfy. And a parking space was a bonus. Easy access to everything either walking or the free trolly. Yes, the shower was tight and the furniture has seen better days. But I will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful visit.
