My husband and I stayed here for just one night and I wish we planned for way more time here, it was absolutely divine. Andrea welcomed us like a family member and we were just shocked at the oasis she has created. Extremely comfortable stay, delicious breakfast, incredible beauty in the home and the view. Thank you so much Andrea I’m sure we will be talking about our stay here for years to come

Your host goes the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay. Breakfast excellent not a hotel breakfast bar. Not really a young kids venue more for couples.

I have to say, out of every single hotel, suite, airbnb, ANYWHERE that I have stayed, this is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. I cannot say ENOUGH amazing things about this gorgeous place. It is truly MAGICAL here, honestly. ||We accidentally stumbled onto Andrea’s property and were so curious because the outside was SO beautiful and inviting. She gave us a quick tour and we FELL IN LOVE. It is SO cozy and SO beautiful inside and out in the garden. We made it a point to come back. ||A couple months later we came back and the hospitality here is just perfect. I love every single room here; there are so many stories to tell about this place!! It is so comfortable and I seriously feel like I’m living in a fairytale when I stay here. We are making it a point to come here every other month. ||I have to say, Andrea’s breakfast is one of a kind. She will make you the most incredible breakfast in the morning. SO delicious, definitely a breakfast worth so much. My boyfriend is a chef so even he was incredibly impressed. ||Andrea is kind, a talented chef, and you can tell she LIVES to make people feel comfortable and have an amazing experience. This little place is the best getaway ever. I’m so thankful we found this place!

The surgeons house bed and breakfast, I swear to God, this is my favorite bed-and-breakfast I have ever stayed at in my entire life! What made it so special was Andria. This place is a gym and you are a pearl, a gift. Thank you Andria for your charming and dynamic personality and how you welcome everyone into your home. Very eclectic and eccentric and I loved every minute of it down to cat. Joshua, Bonita, Alyssa, wow, what a special treat to have met you all. Andria, you picked the perfect room for me and my husband, without a doubt. It was charming and the personality of the room was big, bold and flavorful, we loved it. We heard about your gourmet breakfast and I was excited to actually to be able to experience it, and it was not disappointing. The art work was fabulous with a lot of history, the articles were great, but Andria took the time to do her own library. The happy place. Binders of her life, so much time and details.
This is the only place that I have ever been that has as many books a small library. Even flip books, a special treat for me for sure.
The property was incredible, the gardens, the Koi ponds, special seating everywhere that overlooked the views of the city, quiet and intimate.

It's like visiting the garden of eden without the judgment. Andrea was the perfect host, ensuring our needs were met, including culinary treats. The chauffeurs' quarters were blessed with amazing views and comfort. The B&B was serene, provided historical reference to Jerome's mining past, and was part library and natural park. Highly recommended!!!

This was our first stay and certainly won’t be our last! Andrea is a lovely hostess and treated us like family. We stayed 2 nights and only left the property once! The gardens, balconies, the home are all so welcoming and comfortable. We even played croquet in the yard! I can’t remember the last time I’ve been so relaxed! Thank you, Andrea! You are the best!

We normally day trip it to Jerome but this time we wanted to make a weekend out of it and decided to give the sugeons house a try. Location is arguably the best in Jerome, the views etc breath taking.

We arrived and the host (owner) Andrea welcomed us with open arms, her thorough tour of the house and property was very warm and we felt at home.

Rooms were more than accommodating , very clean and put together to perfection.

Never having been to a bed and breakfast I was expecting something along the lines of "continental" but we got something all but ordinary. She cooked everything from scratch and given the run down in complete detail displaying another one of her many passions in making her guests feel like royalty.

Rooms are a little spendy but considering everything included it's a bargain.

We will return.

For our first visit to Jerome, we looked at several possible overnight stays on Tripadvisor and chose The Surgeon's House B&B, primarily because of its interesting website. Our pick turned out to be perfect, from the cordial greeting to the morning after breakfast when we departed. We booked the Chauffeur's Quarters, which is a private room over the garage with a small garden and deck. The grounds are expansive and impressive, beautifully landscaped with magnificent views of the valley 2,000' below, and we found several areas to enjoy a nice wine/cheese evening. There are 3 koi ponds on the grounds. The huge gourmet breakfast was delicious and the owner-hostess Andrea explained each portion. We highly recommend The Surgeon's House, which is on the National Register and contains many beautiful historic interior decorations. Thank you Andrea and staff for a memorable visit!
