I reserved my room in Booking.com and no where on there did they state that they were doing construction. The restaurant was closed and the stairway closest to our room had no carpet or anything. It was just sub flooring. I was woken up earlier then I had wanted do to the plumbers making noises. The AC in the room was TERRIBLE and the bed was so hard. We had to purchase a foam topper to be able to lay on it. I will never stay here or at any hotel again. Air BnBs only from now on!!

The hotel room was nicely decorated with beautiful outdoor views, but the experience was awful! The bathtub wouldn’t hold water, and the shower drain was severely clogged, forcing our family to awkwardly wash in the tub. We called the front desk, but no one answered. At checkout, we raised the issue, and they promised the owner would contact us—never happened. When we complained via Expedia, the hotel denied the clog, claiming the property was newly renovated and they were unaware of any issue. Utterly unacceptable service. Do not recommend!

So beautiful the rooms are outstanding and it's a perfect location. The soaking tubs are big enough for two and the showers are huge. The restaurant is closed down and the elevator was out of service so 3 flights of floors weren't ideal with all our bags but at least it wasn't 7 or 8 flights of stairs.

Positive: Good view of the beach. Hot tub worked. Negative: Fireplace did not work.No room servicing despite putting out notice to please Sevice.No bath mat.Bathroom door doesn?t open all the way.NO CLOSET! What hotel room has no closet!Wasn?t expecting perfection, but was expecting much more than we got.

Parking was awful. The owner was extremely unfriendly at check-in. Late in the evening, as we returned for the night, we noticed a truck getting ready to leave by the office, so we pulled over by the curb to wait as the parking lot was very tight. The truck processed to back up out of the oarkingblot at a high rate straight at our vehicle and did not hit the brakes until I was laying on my horn. Then the truck pulled forward turned around and cane back at us with his window down. He made a few start ass comments as to he had cameras and could see us and we weren't supposed to be parked there. The guy was the owner of the hotel!!!! Same unfriendly guy that had checked me in and saw my vehicle a few hours prior. He did not apologize or anything. Very rude. He did this on purpose just to mess with us because he didn't like where we had stopped. He could have very easily backed the other direction since he was driving that way anyways. Oh and the very nice deep bath in our room would not hold water either! Needless to say because of the actions of the owner and his attitude we will Never stay here again and will make sure to tell everyone we know!!

Loved the room and the heated fireplace, especially the ocean front view. Unfortunate that the power went out, but overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the inn if you’re looking for a cheap and cozy get away. The front desk staff were very friendly, and I want to thank the guy who was quick to help me out when I locked myself out of my room.

Changing my review as it made mention about the staff being great…not the case. We had brought these items to their attention and were treated with an incredibly condescending manager.

First look at the Ocean Song suite was great. Super cute on the lower level with the living/kitchen area, but goes downhill as you go up the stairs. The carpet is filthy and stained my son’s socks and pants with dirt. It smells very damp and musty, may have been a leak in the roof in one of the upstairs closets but doesn’t look like it was actually fixed. Windows were all open when we arrived, which normally would be fine if it wasn’t freezing with intense wind and rain, my assumption is they knew about the smell and tried to air it out. When my husband told the gentleman at the front desk it smells musty, he did not seem surprised. We ended our stay early because of all of it.

Me and the girls stayed at this hotel, and I've got to say 10/10 experience. The family suite is our suite now, and the bonding over the ghost we think was haunting our room will forever be legendary. If anyone finds my toothpaste flavored beanboozled jellybean I lost, please return it, I miss it.
