My wife and I had a wonderful meal and a great time during our visit to the Rose.
We had the pleasure of having the owner be our server, and he was great! He was super friendly and added a lot to our meal. The food was outstanding. I had the ham steak, eggs, and country potatoes. Everything was hot and very well prepared. The ham steak was large, about a quarter inch thick with a bone. My wife had the avocado toast, and again, it was very good.
This is a very small restaurant and a Puyallup staple.
If you are in town and have the opportunity to try this treasure, we don't think you will be sorry.

We always have a great experience at The Rose restaurant. Note that this is a breakfast / brunch place. It is very cozy, although sometimes you may need to wait in line for a table. The food is delicious, fresh and tasty, so it is worth the wait. The service is very friendly and super fast. The music selection is very nice as well. All the locals enjoy this place very much! I highly recommend it.

My husband and I went to see METALLICA and on our way home we stopped in at this cute little local business for breakfast. Service was speedy. I didn't even have a chance to look over the menu and they were asking if we were ready to order. I hadn't decided yet so husband ordered a coffee, I ordered a root beer after I asked what kind they serve, which was wrong, it ended up being a flat Dr.Pepper which I didn't drink. Breakfast was good,, wasn't home made. I ordered biscuits and gravy, that came with 2 eggs. My husband had an omelet with cold hash browns. To cut this short it cost us over $60 for a snooty rushed cold EXPENSIVE meal here.

Very cute and cozy small town diner. Food was good. I wish my hash brown was more crispy but that’s fine. The pancakes were so good and the server was very nice and friendly as well. I would like to go back 🙂

Great service from sincere, friendly staff.
There is a good variety of old breakfast and lunch standards with options to make a vegetarian happy.
We fed 4 people well for $100, including desert.
My only critique is that the furniture needs an update

You know when the coffee is good in a local Diner, you can bet the food will be just as good, & it was.
Had a great cup of Joe to go with my chicken fried steak&eggs with Hash browns with cheese & onions & white toast. Everything was Outstanding!
My wife got the bone-in ham & was so impressed with the quality & portions.
Nice country music in the background just gives you that warm small-town feel.
We will definitely be back.
& the Service was quick & friendly.

Stumbled here on a warm Sunday while walking around puyallup and got a seat at the bar top right away! The owner was our server and he was so kind and funny. The food was absolutely delicious and fairly priced. Watching the restaurant work you can tell people are happy and there are good vibes among the staff and the customers!

Really loved it here and will be back!

I knew I would like this place as soon as I saw it. Small town diner, friendly people, the yummy smell of food and the owner/manager siting at the counter laughing and talking to the staff like they are family.

A few things I noticed that increased my view of this place, that it had a diverse crowd, they served breakfast all day and in the corner there was a child having their birthday with all the family there and one of the staff was blowing up balloons and placing special decorations at a table to make it festive.

The food was really good. I had the bone in ham served with eggs, toast and choice of potato . My partner had the vegetarian omelet with toast and choice of potato. The strange was that the toast was delayed by 15 min (must bread shortage), but was served with homemade like marrianberry jam.

Over all it was nice. The service was slightly slow and the food took a little longer to be served because it was busy. My rating is like 4.5.
