The perfect mountain getaway. You're within 5 minutes from amazing hikes, food, the lake, and amazing lookout points. The team is kind and welcoming with the best communication. The cabins are perfect size and the heat was great for the winter months. Definitely would recommend for a little mountain getaway!

Our church group has used the Perch every year for the past 4 years as the host of our Staff conference! We absolutely love it here! We typically bring 31-45ish people when we come and it never feels like a hassle. Sandy is really responsive and the planning process is smooth every time! Our people love how cute and cozy the cabins are, the barn and patio are perfect for our main sessions, and some of the cabins are big enough for break out classes. The location is amazing as well. You feel removed from everything when you’re on the site, but you’re actually so close to a bunch of great local dining spots. We always plan a trip to the lake during our conference since it’s only 7-10 mins away. It’s so hard to find a place that can house individual families while keeping everyone together, thats another reason why we love coming to the Perch. Every new staff member that comes to the retreat is always impressed with this site. We plan to come back every year!

I can't recommend The Perch enough! I love staying up there, it is so beautiful and relaxing. I love how quiet it is. I hosted a work event, we had a bar tender and catered dinner and everyone loved being up there together. I have stayed for the weekend and couldn't get enough, I had to bring everyone up there. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay or for a retreat center. The barn is a perfect place to gather everyone. There is a back patio we set up for the bar and we had smores after dinner. It was perfect!

We booked a 2 night stay to attend a memorial. Cabin 3 had a soft and squeaky bed, a non- functional space heater and coffee maker. Martha, the manager, was most responsive and helpful. She contacted the owner; we were moved to cabin 4. The bed was somewhat of an improvement and the coffee maker and space heater worked. Turning the ceiling fan on or off required a tall person standing on the bed. The tub/shower were part of the bedroom which we thought would steam up the entire room. We were charged a $65 cleaning fee in addition to the $117 per night. Looking at the competition, we should have shopped around. Perhaps for $80 a night with no cleaning fee we would have excused the imperfections.

I just hosted a work event at the Perch with 16 people and it was the perfect place. We loved being up in the mountains, it was so quiet and allowed us to be creative. Highly recommend staying here for a weekend away or hosting your next event here.

The team at The Perch (Sandy, especially) helped make my guests get a great couple nights of sleep during my wedding weekender. Sandy was really great with communication, and just a pleasure to chat with. Would definitely recommend The Perch to travelers heading to the mountains!

Hi, I just saw your response. We did stay at the perch. We had issues with your alarms because the stove was not cleaned. The alarm really scarred our son and it affected our stay. To assume that I am a mean person is a reflection on you imho. There isn't any other way to respond to your comment so I put it here in the review. This was really a long time ago.
