This a great hidden gem. My husband and I got an omelet and the comfort platter, and we were both impressed. Good coffee, too. It's very clean, the service was very friendly and fast, and the ambiance is nice and inviting. The owners are a married couple who do all the work themselves, and they're great people. After the tip, we spent $25. We were impressed with that, too! Definitely worth finding this place!

Hands down the best spot for a healthier breakfast option in Big Stone Gap right now!! Everything was delicious! Hasbrowns were cooked to crispy perfection and the portions were huge! Highly recommend them for Breakfast, lunch and dinner and especially your dessert cravings!

This was one of the most enjoyable hours we had on our trip. The young owner was so friendly and welcoming; the server was sweet and helpful. And the pastries.... Oh my!
We live in Charlottesville, which likes to think of itself as sophisticated and "in" but these pastries were as phenomenal as any we've ever tasted. We ended up buying one of almost everything they sold, to take home!

A wonderful place! Me and some family members come here time to time, and the food is amazing! I always get boba, it's the best! The people are kind and it's a very beautiful area. I definitely recommend!

This is a gem of a place in Big Stone Gap, everything is handmade! Of course I had to try the Bubble Tea and there’s so many options in how to build it! They use high quality ingredients and one of the owners took the time to explain the different pastries they had and what they were made out of. They definitely have a passion for baking and I’m hoping to stop by again soon to try their crossaints! The macarons, cream puff, and cookie I had were really good!

Go for the croissant. Go for the cream puff. Go for the gyro bowl. Go for the lavender lemonade. Mostly, small town hospitality and big pastry flavors that don’t know they are in a small town.

The Pastry Cottage was an unexpected pleasure in a small town. I had a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes which filled the plate with 2 eggs over easy...they use real maple syrup! My husband had a provolone and caramelized onion omelette. Everything was delicious and we were able to sit outside overlooking the beautiful powell mountains. We took away the most amazing cinnamon roll with creme cheese and a croissant. The chef and server were so kind and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Love this place!

I am SO GLAD someone brought boba tea to wise county!! 100% recommend, it's so much better than I even thought it would be. Absolutely love all of their pastries. She makes everything from scratch and you can tell she puts a lot of love into everything. Such a blessing to have a place like this here!
