This is our second year at the Oaks Hotel and again exceeded our expectations as the first year did! The facility is warm, comfortable and very clean. The little touches like comfy bathrobes and slippers for an hotel at this reasonable price point is unexpected & appreciated The staff is unparalleled, warm, friendly & fun. They make us feel like it’s a family visit! Don’t miss the freshly baked delicious chocolate chip cookies. Breakfast is included nice!! This is our go to place in Paso Robles!!

The staff at the front counter was great! He is super chill! And Amanda at the bar is one to visit. She was nice and really friendly. We did ask for cleaning but that did not occur. Overall a good visit! The location is a little off of downtown but a $10 uber ride will do.

We arrived into town early in the day and stopped by the hotel first, just to locate it and use the restroom, however, Nigel, the amazing gentleman at the front desk immediately checked and let us check-in early!! During that initial conversation, he asked what we were in town for and I told him it was my wife's birthday so he gifted us a nice bottle of Rose'. He, also, provided some fantastic recommendations for wineries and restaurants in the area. It was a wonderful way to start our short trip! The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is great to visit downtown and Sensario! The breakfast, that is complimentary with your stay, was yummy. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Absolutely terrible! We arrived at our room late afternoon. It was clean but old with wallpaper in the bathroom peeling. We went out for dinner and went to bed early after a long drive. The bed was comfortable but heating unpredictable. We woke the next morning to no hot water. We were told to run it for at least 10 minutes. After 20 minutes of wasting a huge amount of water it was still cold. We were given keys to another room where we could shower. We did so thinking we would move there but decided not to pursue that since the room smelled. We skipped breakfast as we were meeting friends. We were told the water was being fixed. We arrived back at our room late that evening having been told the water was fixed. It was not. We decided not to complain again as it was late. The next morning we again checked the water...still cold. We were leaving anyway that day so decided to quickly wash and have breakfast before hitting the road again. The breakfast was a disaster....the potatoes were undercooked and many pieces were raw, everything else was cold, English muffins stale. We did let the chef know and he became abusive, saying he didn't care, we could go elsewhere and it was a buffet so what did we expect. We complained to the front desk and while they were apologetic, they were unable to offer us any kind of compensation...the manager /owner nowhere to be seen. Do not recommend and quite honestly the worst hotel we've stayed in in our many years of traveling the USA and many parts of the world.

The hotel was pretty nice. The breakfast morning was a little bit. Disturbing with person letting us and to eat period He was trying to act like it was a 4 star restaurant in. Ask us where we wanted to sit and then told us we couldn't sit there because we didn't have enough people and there was nobody in there period he took our food before we finished.
I made us feel like we were being watched when we were eating.

Very clean rooms! We booked a dog friendly double queen room. It was great. Breakfast was all the typical things you normally see plus a few hot items from a kitchen. They had sausage, ham, hash potatoes, scrambled eggs and waffles. Plus there was a host that was making sure the dining room was clean. And there’s a nice little bar in the lobby too. Well stay here again next time we’re in Paso!

Right in Paso and close to wine tasting. Comfortable rooms with a nice breakfast. The staff were very nice and helpful as well. We received a drink card on checkin but didn’t get to use it but a kind gesture. We’ve stayed there in the past too. Will definitely visit again.
