We were staying at Crescent Lodge and looking for coffee early in the morning before heading to Mount Rainier. Most places were still closed, but luckily, we found the Mountain Goat Coffee Shop—the only spot open in the area.

The coffee was good, but the blueberry muffin was absolutely delicious! We even got to see a girl making fresh dough while two ladies prepared our coffee. The atmosphere was charming, and we loved the freshness of everything being served.

Although we couldn’t find many vegetarian options, one of the ladies kindly suggested we try a vegetarian popper (I wish I could remember the exact name). We waited 5-10 minutes since they were still baking, and it was worth every second.

We ate the popper while driving to Mount Rainier and immediately regretted ordering just one—it was so tasty!

This place is a must-visit for fresh, flavorful treats and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping by!

Got some coffee and breakfast before skiing at White Pass! 16oz drip coffees were $3.25 and tasted great, the poppy seed almond muffin was $3.50 and the warm breakfast scone was $6. Lots of space to sit in the morning sun.

We stopped by for snacks and coffee before heading home.
I had a cup of chai. There are 3 tastes chai, I picked dragon ginger chai. I highly recommend the chai who loves ginger.
I would love to visit the cafe again.

Stopped in and grabbed a coffee and scone. The atmosphere was very cute. The coffee and homemade scones were amazing! If you are in the area stop in!

They were busy so, it seemed slow, but they were friendly and prompt in things. Variety of coffee choices and baked goods. Their baking was good, although the options were limited, probably due to lower traffic levels. Still there was something for everyone. A scout group came while we were eating and the line got longer, but it moved along and everyone found something to their liking. Nice change for breakfast. There is outside seating available. It was raining while we were there, which keep most folks inside.

Charming little bakery with a wide selection of muffins, pastries, scones, cookies, and coffees. Even the local elks would agree, great way to start your morning!! This little gal in the photo was right across the street, not afraid of anything!!
