The melting pot is such a fun experience. This was my first time going in probably a decade, my fiance took me to celebrate my birthday. It was so fun, the food was great and the service was excellent. They have grills now so you don't have to boil your entree course and I loved that! We also got a cute little photo in a frame souvenir.

My boyfriend surprised me with a date here and I was beyond amazed. The food was incredible and the service we had from Priscilla was top tier. From the rose on the table to the privacy curtain, every fine detail of this restaurant is impeccable

Last night, I had the immense pleasure of celebrating my beloved wife’s birthday month at The Melting Pot in Ahwatukee, Arizona. Opting for their Romance Package, we were greeted with a table adorned with rose petals and candles, setting the perfect intimate atmosphere. ïżŒ

Our evening commenced with a rich cheese fondue, followed by a crisp, fresh salad. The main course featured an array of tender meats and seafood, each bite more delightful than the last. We concluded with a decadent chocolate fondue, a sweet finale to our memorable night.

The attentive service and romantic ambiance made the evening truly unforgettable. If you’re seeking a unique and intimate dining experience, I highly recommend The Melting Pot’s Romance Package. ïżŒ

Meh. I was disappointed at best. This was a very expensive meal, but at a place like this, you pay for the experience, right? It missed the mark, there, too

The main course was really the biggest disappointment, followed by dessert.

There was plenty of bread, and fruit for the cheese fondue course, and the cheese fondue was delicious! The main course left a lot to be desired, though. We were given two small pieces, perhaps an ounce or less, each, of poorly seasoned meat, poultry and seafood. I chose the chicken, shrimp, beef and lobster tail. For the price, I expected more bites.it just wasn’t filling or satisfying.

The chocolate fondue was good but the cakes did not taste fresh. They seemed to have absorbed the flavor of the refrigerator. They just didn’t taste good.

The at the end of the night, our waiter would not split the bill. This is so odd to me. I haven’t been any place where a bill couldn’t be split in a long time. All he had to do was provide a different bill to each of the 5 couples that were at the table. He explained that it would take too long to split the bill. What if we were 5 separate tables? Would he have time, then? They were not even busy. Not even close. In the 4 hours that we were there (the last 45 minutes of which, was spent reconciling the bill) I saw maybe only 5 tables including ours, one of which turned over during that time. The dining room that we were seated in was empty the entire night.

In addition to this, 2 hosts. I don’t understand why we couldn’t be accommodated. A lot of restaurants can even split the bill at the table. Not this one, apparently.

The service, besides this, was excellent. Our waiter was attentive, explained the choices, recommended his favorites when asked, kept our glasses full and checked on us often.

Altogether, I can’t see myself returning to the melting pot any time soon.

I was so excited when my boyfriend surprised me with a date night here. I had never been to a Melting Pot but heard it was a high end dining experience. We arrived and I was immediately disappointed as the place didn't look or feel high end. The decor was very dated and the Valentine's balloons and decor looked tacky. It felt like the 80's and the furniture itself was all scuffed and the tabletop cooking stove had a broken corner. For the amount of money they charge here there is no reason this place should look so run down. The cheese fondue was disgusting and was literally just shredded cheese from a bag. The veggies and bread weren't fresh. The salads were bagged salad and the steak was so salty. I love chocolate and even that fondue wasn't great. We did get good service from our server though...he was nice. This place is way over priced and I would recommend going elsewhere if you're looking for a romantic date night.

We love Melting Pot, so it really pains me to write this. We typically visit the Melting Pot in Glendale, but thought we would try this south Phoenix location for once!

To start, my fondue skewers were dirty- however, when I brought it to someone’s attention they were immediately replaced. I understand things happen, so we continued to remain optimistic.
Our waitress was incredibly sweet, but it was evident she was stretched very thin. We saw her pretty sparingly, but she was always smiling!
The dirty martini I had was great, and so was the spinach artichoke cheese. At the Glendale location, we have always received tortilla chips upon request with our cheese (same cheese we ordered today) at no additional cost. However, we were charged $4.00 at this location, which was a surprise. It appears they may have washed the vegetables because of the water on our bread/fruit/veggie plate, which we appreciate- but it made our breads a bit soggy.
The Cesar salad we had was tasty, but we had to ask for dressing on the side- the lettuce (seen in photo) had virtually no dressing.
For entrees we ordered Cajun shrimp, chicken and the filet mignon. The filet alone was $27, which we expected because we have had it at other locations. However, when it reached our table- it had almost a regular steak marbling, and even with cooking it medium rare- it was tough. Our waitress was able to take it back and removed it from our bill. We considered chocolate, but forwent ordering because we felt like we were just striking out and didn’t want to take the chance.
Although everyone was incredibly kind here, it unfortunately doesn’t make up for the hefty price paid for a subpar experience (at best). We won’t be returning to this location, but will continue to make the drive to the Glendale location because there were too many negative, yet very noticeable differences.

I recently had an amazing dining experience at The Melting Pot, and I have to give a special shoutout to Tre for making the evening even better. From the moment we arrived, Tre was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed.

The meal itself was fantastic. We started with the classic cheese fondue, which was rich, creamy, and paired perfectly with the fresh bread, apples, and veggies. For the main course, the selection of meats and seafood was fresh and flavorful, and cooking them in the seasoned broth was both fun and delicious. But the highlight was definitely dessert—nothing beats dipping strawberries, brownies, and marshmallows into warm, melted chocolate.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere was cozy and intimate, making it a great spot for a special night out. Tre’s exceptional service really made the evening memorable. If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend asking for Tre—you won’t be disappointed!

We’ll definitely be back!
