I recently stayed at this hotel in Bainbridge (March 2025) for five nights and had a fantastic experience. It’s a smaller hotel with a welcoming atmosphere and an incredibly friendly staff. The location is perfect—directly across from a grocery store and Starbucks, with a gas station next door and a parking garage for convenience.

One of the highlights for me was how clean and well-maintained the hotel was. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of complimentary drinks and fresh fruit in the afternoon. If you enjoy walking, this is a great place to stay—there are plenty of nearby paths, including one specifically for dogs.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Bainbridge. I would definitely stay here again!

Actually, I’m giving this hotel a 4.75 star. When we checked in, we were greeted with a friendly staff. The lobby was clean, which put me in a good frame of mind. We did have a small problem with the room that we were assigned to as the scent from the cleaning products used to clean the room was overwhelming to us. When we asked for a fan to mitigate the problem, they actually assigned us a new room, which was a pleasant surprise.||The room we had was clean and quiet. They has a strong wifi, covered (not secure) parking, and free snacks and drinks which I never see at more expensive hotels. That’s definitely a nice touch. The bed, pillows, and linens were clean and soft. All systems were up to date. We felt it was above standard fare, in comparison to other places we’ve stayed at in the past. It’s close to restaurants, grocery stores, and other amenities and it’s five minutes from Winslow. It’s also close to the ferries.||The only reason I’m not giving this a 5 star is the breakfast provided was not hot. What they provided was pretty much what many other hotels provide so it wasn’t a bad spread, it just wasn’t hot enough. There was enough breakfast food selection so it wasn’t a big deal to us but this is the reason I’m giving it a 4.75 star.||Other than that, we were very happy with this hotel.

Positive: Love the practicality of the suites with couch and sitting area, as well as little kitchenette. It's nice that drinks and snack are offered without cost. Also a sweet collection of young child toys and books. Negative: Would love a small assortments of necessities in kitchen but understand why it's difficult to keep stocked.

Rooms are large, but not at all comfortable. Bed was lumpy and not at good for a person with back issues. My husband booked the room for two nights, but after one we decided we would like to move on. Management would not allow us to cancel the second night, even though we told them well before checkout. Would not recommend. No customer service and uncomfortable accommodations. Boo.

It's okay, but I expected a bit better. First, the good parts: the staff were super friendly -- I called ahead of time to let them know I'd be checking in a bit late, and they waited for me as I juuuuust made the 10pm checkin time. The checkin and checkout processes were lightning fast and there were no issues. Coming from LA, I'm still impressed by how friendly and welcoming people are here!

Also, the lobby is quite nice, and is full of cool stuff to do. It has books (incl. local guidebooks), games, and a public computer. They also have breakfast which is your standard affair with sausages, eggs, cereal, and bread. As a vegan, there wasn't much for me, but they at least had bagels and peanut butter. That's okay because that's pretty standard for hotels and I like bagels with peanut butter.

The room itself was... okay. I got a single king room for around $130/night, and it was a big room with a desk, couch, TV, and comfy bed. There were some minor issues like chipped paint, but it was fine overall. However, the room had a persistent "sweaty" smell, like old gym clothes were sitting in a corner somewhere. It wasn't noticeable after being in it for a while, but every time I came back, I felt it wash over me. I feel like maybe they needed to deep clean the carpet or something?

Speaking of cleaning, there was a lack of it in my room. During the 7 days I stayed there, my room never got any housekeeping service once -- the same leaves stayed on the floor, and the trash was never emptied. I'm not entirely sure how often is standard for hotels like this, and my room was never really dirty, but I feel like at least one or two quick cleaning passes would be appreciated.

The other big issue was noise. This hotel is located about 500 feet from the intersection of the busiest two roads on the island. This means it's a good location for exploring the town, but there is also a major road noise problem -- especially from 5am to 8am when there are a lot of trucks and ferry commuters going by. I'm not entirely sure if the hotel has bad soundproofing, or if the traffic is really loud, but there is definitely more road noise than at my Los Angeles apartment! I ended up having to wear earbuds every night in order to sleep.

All in all, none of these issues were serious enough to affect my trip as a whole, they were just annoying. Considering that the other two hotels on the island cost at least $200/night extra, and the location is very convenient, I think I would stay here again. However, a bit more effort on maintenance, cleaning, and soundproofing would help this hotel be a much nicer place to stay.

I have stayed here for years as my parents live on the island. My most recent stay with my family was one of the best, with the help of the new Manager Alissa and Assistant Kyler. We were given consideration for the rooms, check-in times and more. Also, I had left my carry-on bag by mistake in the lobby. I was called within maybe 30 mins of my departure while in the ferry line. They secured it and mailed it within a day, with all my valuables intact. I was so grateful. The rooms are clean and quiet and the beds very comfortable. Grocery store, Starbucks, and a good pizza place right across the street. The only thing I would recommend is a Keurig coffee machine in the room and add good eggs and bacon/ham/sausage to breakfast menu.

My husband and I just needed a place for one night. The check in was friendly & fast. They have a private parking garage attached to the hotel with elevator and luggage carts. This was very helpful after a long day traveling. Very easy to get your luggage into your room. Room was very clean. The couch could be more comfortable. There was a microwave & mini fridge. I would stay here again.
