I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Mad Hatter. I was looking for a specific tea and the gentleman was very helpful. He had what I wanted and a nice selection of teas I had never come across before. I was able to purchase samples of a few teas I was interested in.
Besides tea there are products from local artisans for sale.

Some very unusual and tasty teas, for instance,”Butterscotch” tea? I’ve never heard of it before, but it is SO good?! We are very lucky to have a tea shop here, especially downtown! Great job for assisting downtown Lewiston to thrive!

Cute store with friendly and kind owners. Blend their own tea from high quality wholesalers and have so many cute, local and hand made items. Very knowledgeable about all the products they carry and the locals they buy them from. A must to check out.

Saw this cute store on my vacation visiting a friend and I just had to go in. Instantly loved it! I got two different tea's, so so good!! I will definitely go back and get more delicious tea!

I first stumbled onto this shop on accident, and I have to say I LOVE IT. The selection is amazing, and I've slowly gotten to learn what I like and dislike in teas. My fav - Love potion or minty rose. It also makes my heart happy she carries mug wart as well! 15/10 service every time I come in, feels like seeing an old friend.

Excellent place to go for tea drinkers! Awesome selection and the owner, Preston, is fun to talk to and has great knowledge on teas and brewing methods. Some really cool local artwork for sale as well.
