**Review of The Loft**

As a loyal customer of The Loft for over six years, I’ve always appreciated the cozy atmosphere and friendly service that made this place feel like a second home. However, after my recent visit, I find myself feeling quite disappointed and uncertain about the future of this beloved spot.

With the recent change in ownership, I understand that transitions can be challenging. However, being closed for an entire week without any updates online was frustrating. When I arrived to check out the new setup, I was met with an entirely new staff and the explanation that "everyone quit" when the new owner took over. If that’s indeed the case, it raises questions about the new leadership and how they’re managing the team that had previously created such a welcoming environment.

To add to my disappointment, I discovered that the rewards system has been completely overhauled, leaving me without access to my hard-earned rewards. I was looking forward to treating myself to my favorite drink, but instead, I left feeling let down. The aesthetic of the place has also shifted, and it just doesn’t have the same vibe that I loved.

It’s disheartening to see a place I’ve frequented at least twice a day for years change so drastically. While I’m open to giving it another shot in a few months, I can’t help but feel a sense of loss for what The Loft once was. I hope the new ownership can find a way to recapture the charm and community spirit that made this place special.

Really disappointed to come in and see none of the regular girls who are always in. My coffee was just okay. The customer service was definitely lacking as I wasn’t even greeted when I came in like usual. On top of that I was told I couldn’t use my reward points? I know I had at least 1 free drink on there so that’s really disappointing. Then i read these reviews and see that the loft was sold and the entire staff quit. Really makes one wonder why an entire dedicated team just up and left? The previous owners and staff were so awesome and I am so sad to see them go. To the new owners, hope you’re able to get it together. I’ll miss having this spot to hang out, but this entire experience has rubbed me the wrong way.

This place has excellent coffee that doesn't ever seem to be bitter, unlike many other places. What little food I have tried here so far has been great, too.

Parking can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, and most nearby spots I've noticed have a 90 minute limit, but that's usually plenty long enough.

Cool/hip location, gives off "I'm a great place to meet friends and/or study" vibes with lots of room to sit around, and super friendly staff! But mid mocha at best. Could've paid the same or less for a drive through mocha and it would've tasted about the same.

The Loft is an example of what dim lighting, a dark-varnished-wood aesthetic, and a lively atmosphere can offer to the table.

When I am ordering at The Loft, I am ordering good drinks made by good people who work hard and make sure your taste buds are satisfied when you leave their establishment.

When it comes to coffee, I highly recommend their Frappes as they are smooth and creamy yet blended enough to maintain a texture similar to a soften ice cream shake. After that, try their drip coffee with two sugar and a dash of cream - It'll wake you up with a contentness.

When it comes to food, they offer a variety of affordable sandwiches and bagels; as far as Cafes go. I enjoy the bagels personally, especially the sausage one. They are warmed, then panini pressed for extra heat and crunch.

There is more than the main room at this location, too; there is a backroom that I refer to as the "study" where you can reset from the atmosphere and enjoy a more quiet, intimate space OR throw a more lively party and talk secrets and life!

Overall, The Loft hits all the notes that I look for when it comes to cafes. Batistas here do their best; it shows in their performance and consistent high-quality drink, service, and delicious food. I have been a customer for a few years now, and though I spend the majority of my time away from Everett, I highly recommend coming to the Loft when you're here.

The Loft is a wonderful coffee shop in a quiet part of Everett. It’s much bigger than it looks from outside or the front with a big meeting area in the back that can be reserved. Walk in a line up at the barista. To your right are a bunch of “To Go” items like sandwiches, snacks and drinks. The coffee is excellent. Not that brown water like other places. The Loft has comfy leather couches and chairs near the front door with lots of light from huge windows. Numerous tables with 2-4 chairs line the wall opposite the baristas. The decor on the walls has canvas images of historical Everett, with lots of dark wood walls and beams. The bathrooms are very clean! The staff is friendly and helpful, even when busy and short handed. The Loft gives you a lovely coffee house setting, nice staff, quality coffee and relaxed atmosphere. I wish they had a store in my neighborhood.

Great morning stop on your way to work! Friendly and helpful baristas and a lot of space to do your work or meet up with a few friends. The coffee has a nice, smooth flavor. They also have some scones, muffins and bagels for breakfast as well as pre-made sandwiches for lunch. My only criticism is that they close at 3:00.... I wish they gave us an option to get a coffee after work as well...
