Do not, I repeat do not pay attention to all the negative reviews, we usually stay at the hotel, but decided to bring our golden doodle so chose the lodge. Everything was very clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. We would for certain bring our dog again to this pet friendly lodge. Thank you for offering a place to bring our dog for a family vacation. We enjoyed time at the Out of Africa Zoo and the casino and dinner at the buffet while our boy was at doggy daycare just down the street at Hillside Canine Resort

Our room was very nice. King suite with 2 baths, dog proof for our little dog. It was very quiet. There isn’t currently a front desk as they are remodeling so you check in at the Casino Hotel. Large casino and 4 restaurants! There’s a pool & spa. It’s more of a motel so Lodge fits well. It’s not swanky but comfortable. I’d stay here again! Plenty of plugins so not a problem there.

The room was fine. AC worked great when the bathroom gfi was not tripped and that only seemed to trip when the room supplied coffee maker or hair dryer was used. The faint urine smell when we walked into the room disipated quickly. There wasn't much mold in the shower and the mirror had probably been cleaned this week but the mattresses were more lumpy than the ones my grandmother had in her basement from the 1970s. Sheets and towels were both cleaned, no complaints there. The view from the back patio was a spectacular place to enjoy a cup of morning coffee once I was able to actually get the sliding glass door open (broken rollers), until the smell from LOTS of dog droppings came into play. Likely from one of the stray dogs that tried to get into our vehicle. Seriously though, the views were great. The shuttle to the casino actually showed up one of the two times we called them. Our lane in the bowling alley stopped working for nearly 20 minutes of our one hour bowling time slot. The Kids Quest area (absolute highlight for my 9 year old) was a big hit with my kid . . . Although they failed to actually provide him the food and drink we ordered for him at drop off. The answer I got when I inquired why my kid didn't get dinner? "Well we didn't charge you if he didn't get it". Great, my child in your care still didn't get the dinner we requested. The single vending machine at The Lodge had it's card reader offline, but that was ok because it was sold out of every beverage.

The food at Three Sisters was genuinely good. I recommend it! Every item we tried was well made and very tasty. The buffet adequate. Similar to a trip to The Ole Country Buffet at twice the cost. I won't knock the buffet for being out of some items or the bar for serving different drinks than ordered, those things just happen sometimes.

We stayed here pre-pandemic and enjoyed the experience. Camp Verde had always been our favorite jumping off point for adventures in Sedona, Prescott Valley, Flagstaff and beyond. It is a neat little town. We will never stay at The Lodge at Cliff Castle again and will likely not return to the casino proper.

Room had food on the floor . They had us waiting for check in . Don’t eat the food from Johnny rocket my grand daughter ordered a grilled cheese it tasted like chemical.. 60 dollars for three people.. we ate at the buffet we all ended up sick during the night .. bring a vacuum and your own food . The staff acted like they don’t like their job..

I’ve been a long time Cliff Castle Casino rewards member. I was recently assaulted during my stay at The Lodge. It was brought to my attention during this difficult time that there aren’t any cameras, staff, or security on premises so the assailant was never seen. The casino/hotel has not reached out to me after the incident. Be warned if you are planning on staying here.

The room and hotel is very basic and plain. Nothing special or crazy, all rooms have a balcony view which is a plus. A/c was very cold, shower was hot, pool was a good size. We called for more towels and they showed up within ten minutes. I always check for bed bugs at any hotel, and there was no sign of bed beds. The pool was nice and cool, a worker came and tested the water. So they do maintenance the pool, and felt comfortable swimming.
The parking lot and exterior halls are very dark. A lot of cobwebs and just outdated. Rooms are outdated and very basic. Just a plain boring room.

My husband had to tighten screws on chair. Booked room with booking.com which didn't tell us $35 non refundable pet fee and $50 deposit refundable. Room next to us had 2 adult dogs and 3 puppies that barked a lot. The beds are to high my puppy fell off on his chest scared me very hard floor.

Service no good. Room was very nosey, the air van from the bathroom did not work. The room alarm went off because of the steam. Our room cards to get into our room didn't work. Had to call maintenance to open our room. Ants in the bathroom window. No coffee filter to make coffee. There was a used coffee cup used up hidden under other cups. Not happy at all. Very disappointed n dissatisfied. Never again stay there. Waste of money..
