In my opinion this place just isn't worth over $100 a night. As a family of 4, there wasn't much for counter space in the room or the bathroom. There was duct tape on our doors, the showers are small and I can see the piping, there were broken window blinds, and my mother-in-law's room had an extension cord and power strip lining the room and her shower got stuck on after she showered. We ended up only staying one night of our 2 night reservation because my mother-in-law said there was mold in her shower.
I'd post photos, if I had the option.

Update: I was able to upload photos after posting. Also, I forgot the soap in the bathroom was severely watered down.

Extremely disappointed in our entire experience with The Little Village. Upon arrival, entering the room we noticed there was water left over in the Keurig, the room was significantly smaller than the pictures led us to believe, there was a space heater plugged in under the bathroom sink (fire hazard), the shower was so small that my husband had to bend down just to get under the shower head and the smell of cow manure was overpowering. I texted the number on our reservation and told them our concerns and that we would be leaving the following morning and would like our money back for the two days we would not be staying. I have emailed and texted countless times with no response from the owner. This hotel, these rooms, are not worth more than $60 and we paid $125 per night, so we lost $250 for the nights we left. I wish I had someone warn me before spending the money and staying here. Here is your warning...

We stayed in a double room this past weekend,Thursday to Monday visiting our son, and it was ok. The location is fantastic and the price is very reasonable. An inconvenience is that no one is onsight to take care of issues. Everything is done online or texting, and it takes awhile for anyone to get back to you. Our double room was quaint and small but it looked newly remodeled and was clean! The bathroom was really small and tight. No real vanity to put any toiletries on, but there was a small shelf above old fashioned sink. Shower was really old fashioned and hard to regulate water temperature, going to warm to hot, to really cold!! The beds were comfortable. The most annoying was the TV situation. It's a Roku TV and could only find one local station and no other common known stations or decent apps to get good TV. Since there was a maid cleaning rooms I had her come over to see if she could figure TV out, but to no avail. All in all it's not a bad place for the price and very conveniently located if you can put up with the issues I've described.

This motel need some serious attention. At first glance it looks nice. Then as you settle in you realize the condition it’s really in. First, the safety chain was just ripped out of the wall and had just been pushed back in for looks. The bathrooms are atrocious. Curtain wreaks of mold, floors rotted and covered with other random materials. Other than the shower the bathroom is a shoebox. Even my 12 year old complained about the space. Then there were what appeared to be small spots of blood on one bed sheet. The other bed smelled like an ash tray. Last thing to note is the filth u see anything that you may have to move to make room. I get that it’s a small motel and there’s probably not a lot of staff but man. At half the price I’d have Expected this but at $105 it’s completely unacceptable.

This motel was easy to find and not bad price-wise, but definitely is lacking in service. Our room was clean and comfortable, but we were only left with a half roll of toilet paper and couldn't find any more in the room. I sent an email the next morning to ask for more and see if wifi was available, but never received a response during our stay or after. This motel is definitely a good option if the hotels in town are full, but the lack of staff available is a bit worrisome.

Cute little place right next to a major bike trail, close to shops and restaurants. The rooms are very clean and they have a foe wood floor that makes it feel even cleaner somehow. The beds are super comfortable, not too soft, not too firm and the room comes with the normal; fridge, microwave, desk and chair, but it also has a Keurig machine. The owners and staff are wonderful people and very accommodating.
I used to work in hospitality and this place is above even my own standards and for the price I paid I was floored by how nice the rooms are. So if you are looking for a clean and quiet place to stay in Mt.Horeb definitely come check out this place.

We had a long weekend/mini-vacation with our kids & grandkids, & definitely picked the right place to stay! Carrie was super-friendly and accomodating, and made sure the 3 rooms we reserved were just right for our situation. Rooms are so cute, cozy, & homey, and VERY clean! Plus the motel's "back yard" hooks right up to a nice bike trail, and is handy to places to eat, convenience store, & other businesses and attractions. We will definitely be recommending The Little Village to friends & family, and would love to stay there again when we get a chance!

My kids live right down the street, and this was the best place on the planet that I had to just drive one mile to. It was so clean and so nice. My husband was so happy to watch football on the television and we both had a Queen bed LOL.Nice puffy four pillows. So nice. Planning on coming there again soon. We babysit our 3 grandsons and it's a 2 hr drive home so this is so nice to have a block away!
