I really enjoyed the live piano—relaxing and not too loud, so we could still have a conversation. I ordered the Peach Pie Waffle and it was everything I hoped for: crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly paired with warm peaches and cold vanilla ice cream. We went on a Sunday at noon and were pleasantly surprised to get a table for two with no wait. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

First time at the Leaning Maple, and it was a great experience. Our server Maddox was funny and had good customer service. They also had someone there playing a piano in the corner and it was a nice surprise! The food was great, we all loved our waffles/sandwiches! But would not recommend the prosciutto pesto waffle, which was just okay. It was about $20 per person for a meal, not including any drinks and we found that pricing to be worth the great meal. Since it's downtown there is no parking lot and you have to fight to find a spot.

As someone who's always looking for another dedicated gluten-free restaurant, I'm pretty surprised how long it took us to try The Leaning Maple... and I've got to say, confidently, that its hands down our new favorite restaurant in Olympia. I nearly cried, it was so incredibly good. The staff was so kind, everything tasted like an absolute dream, the espresso beverages were phenomenal... I can't say enough. I never wanted that breakfast waffle sandwich to end. The apple waffle was also a thing of dreams. I'm counting down the days until we can go again.

Phenomenal restaurant! So glad to have a dedicated gluten free spot in Oly. The waffles are incredible, and the vibe is great. Extra thanks to Maddox who made our visit really special and took great care of us!

Not really worth what they're charging. For the money I would have expected inhouse cooked turkey, received deli slice in the waffle sandwich, and it was 24 bucks.

They brought out my 4 year old's cider in a glass pint, had to ask for a plastic cup with a straw, which they gave my 6 year old's milkshake in (had to get up and ask, because waitress was not coming around.) That was a little weird.

Service was overall, mid. We were there for an hour, and there must have been a shift change but nobody told us. Went a long time without being checked on, even though we were right next to use espresso bar area.

Food was okay. Again, not worth the price, the kind of place where the coffee is great, but refills aren't free.

However, this being Olympia, and options being limited, I'll probably be back occasionally.

They added Nutella to my son's waffle, which was nice. Soup was good.

Cheap Sriracha copy and vanilla creamer only on the table was not good.

Also no potatoes. I missed the potatoes at breakfast. Menu is 100% gluten free.

Decent for Olympia. (Not saying too much)

80 for 3 people, no splurging, no brunch cocktails. Eesh.

OMG!!!! Did I already say, OMG!!!! This place is phenomenal. Waffles are one of my favorite foods and this spot did not disappoint.

The staff were friendly and accommodated my group that repeatedly reminded them that they were on a tight time crunch.

Amazing waffles! I had the pizza waffle it was so good! Trying the bbq pork waffle next 🙂 Great customer service and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Great menu also there are so many waffles to choose from. The next day I had the pulled pork waffle but I’m picky so I just added bacon to the pulled pork waffle and ohhh my you have to go try it 🙂 It was so goood! Update! Just had the most amazing delicious classic breakfast and the hasbrowns are out of this world 🙂 so so good! If you have not tried this place you’re missing out!!!

We just discovered this cozy little gem in downtown Oly!!

After searching for brunch ideas, The Leaning Maple was the perfect choice for us.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Great atmosphere, and I loved their set up. It felt like a great place to be.

We learned that their menu and kitchen is 100% Gluten Free, which is great for those who need that option.

We got the Breakfast Waffle and Salmon Lox Waffle to try, and it was divine!! They both were savory and packed so much flavor, especially with the roasted cherry tomatoes in oil on top 😋
