If you're looking for comfortable accommodations and wonderful hosts, the Laughing Moose and Scott and Gretchen are wonderful! The couple, both retired Navy officers, built their home and the Laughing Moose guest cabins from the ground up over more than 20 years. There are two cabins, each has a kitchenette (including pots, pans, dishes and utensils) wi-fi and each sleeps four comfortably. If you're visiting the Talkeetna area, the Laughing Moose is a great place to stay!

My husband and I stayed here a few years ago, and had an excellent stay! Everything was very clean and tidy. The area is peaceful. Gretchen was a great hostess. I'd definitely stay here again!

It was cute, cozy, and very clean. It's in a great location and very peaceful. They also left delicious muffins for breakfast!
