My experience wasn’t what I expected. We’ve had friends who had previously stayed that shared with us how we should go that it’s worth it.
Let me be clear, I wanted to love this place, but it just felt like everything fell short.
Our initial room was dark and the carpet was stained. Outside the window we had a view of the service entrance and some scaffolding. Thankfully the hotel was nice enough to upgrade us, which I appreciated.

The new room was lovely and very recently renovated, however, my husband did say the new paint smell bothered him all night.

The food was mediocre at best, I felt like everything we ordered we could easily go down the street and get the same items for a better price. My husband felt his pasta lacked flavor and was bland.

The cocktails were a disaster, tried to order two different drinks but they were out of stock of either the type of alcohol or a mix in.
When we did get drinks (ordered the same for each of us) even though they should have been the same had tasted slightly different from the other. Also, my husband’s piña colada from the pool bar tasted like just an ice slushy with no flavor or alcohol.

The only saving grace is the grounds, it’s stunning to walk around and the gardens and atmosphere is peaceful!

For what they charge though, I would go elsewhere in the future, which is such a shame.

We've stayed here and also just had brunch. Absolutely beautiful grounds. Service can be a mixed bag, had to wait 10 minutes to get two diet cokes by the pool. Managers - you need to understand peak traffic times. But overall, it's a beautiful setting if you're celebrating and don't mind paying top dollar.

This hotel has amazing service. Every single person from the valet, to housekeeping to the Barista in the sundry shop was amazing.

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous as well. It’s one of the best kept facilities I’ve seen in a long time.

Their valet has an electric charging service, the hotel restaurants and bars are nice and there are many off property options about a mile away.

The rooms and conference areas are nice but a little dated. All in all a wonderful hotel a d experience. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Beautiful historical property throughout. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent food. But beware the property is overrun by individuals who are not staying there as they have a very popular and active non-guest program allowing outsiders use of the pool and amenities. The staff could not handle the additional people. The pool areas could not handle the influx of individuals. I would not stay here unless you are simply stay in your room the entire time.

This hotel and grounds were absolutely stunning! At check-in, was upgraded to a spacious room on a high floor overlooking the grounds (view of the lawn chess board). The room was gorgeous with a comfortable bed and marble flooring in the bathroom. Parking was valet only at $50/night. Entire staff was attentive and pleasant. Location seemed to have lots to do off the hotel grounds though I did not spend much time in Pasadena itself. Had to work during part of my stay and the business center was quiet. On-site restaurants were outstanding! Great wine selection and specialty cocktails. Will definitely return during my next trip to the Pasadena area and hope to spend more time exploring.

Stayed for one night and wished I had more time to enjoy all the Langham has to offer. the rooms were clean and well appointed. The hotel is quiet and the grounds give a sense of tranquility. Take time to enjoy the picture bridge. Breakfast at the terrace restaurant is not to missed.
