Loved everything about this place. The management and camp workers are amazing people. Had a great time getting to know everyone. Loved the clean laundry room and had fun playing pool. Can't wait for them to get the lights for the pool area so we can use it in the evening. It was the only thing that was a disappointment. Thanks everyone for a great time. See ya next year.

A peaceful, beautiful, immaculate rv resort. The resort is well taken care of, amazing pool & hot tub. Staff is very friendly & helpful. There are exercise classes & storytelling classes during the week. Great community center!! Adults only in the winter season.

I had the pleasure of staying here in one of their gorgeous Casita's. I've stayed at a lot of airbnb's and hotels over the years, and I swear this was by far the best one I've stayed in.

1) All the furniture is high quality and incredibly comfortable, from the sofa's and chairs to the extremely luxurious king size bed.

2) The kitchen is extremely well equipped. There's nothing worse than arriving to an Airbnb with only a drawer of silverware. Not this place! They had a toaster, blender, plenty of pots and pans, and everything you'd need to cook your own meal (which is important since food is a bit of a drive away).

3) The people are super helpful and nice. I took the Yoga and Band workout class everyday I was there with their fitness instructor, it was a great free perk and an awesome way to start my mornings. I also took a free art class with the art teacher and she helped me paint a beautiful memory of my trip.

4) Great amenities, including a heated pool and a hot tub. I spent at least 20 minutes in the hot tub each day. They also held a free concert with a local band one weekend night and they were INCREDIBLE! It was such a beautiful atmosphere.

5) Finally, the views. Everywhere you look is absolutely gorgeous. The views from my casita with the stars and the moon and the mountains was so serene and peaceful. It's a very quiet spot to enjoy nature on your own terms!

Overall, I loved my stay and can't recommend it enough! I miss The Lakes already!

Nice and clean, well kept resort. Workers were very friendly and so were the guests. This was supposed to be adult season. But for some reason allowed children to fish in the ponds. Bigger issue was them fishing on your site. Needs better rule sharing with fishermen. There is plenty of non camp spaces to fish. Number of sites is more than restroom and dog park coverage. One dog park and one restroom/shower facility for hundreds of sites. The reason we like this campground is the water sites. Not something you see too much in Arizona.

We came down to lay a wreath at my parents grave for Wreaths Across America at Southern Arizona Veterans Cemetery. The park was very nice. It was not crowded at all. We were in site 14 next to the pool area. Backed up to the pond. Ducks were fun to watch. They had a couple activities that we couldn’t participate in due to our plans. The sites are level and varied sizes. We enjoyed the rural setting. The sunsets were beautiful. There are several units that look to be long term. People were friendly. It was too cool to use the pool (70*) water temp too cool for the weather. We couldn’t use the hottub because it closes at dusk. My only complaint is that the water in the shower house was lukewarm at best. We were having issues with our camper. Otherwise I wouldn’t have known that. The restroom was very clean and the grounds are beautiful. We had to get home otherwise would’ve stayed a little longer. It’s a great place to stay to do Tombstones, Kartchner Caverns, Colossal Cave, etc. We would stay here again if in the area. Hit the Horseshoe Cafe’ for a great meal.

Centrally located in the area. 20 minutes from everything. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. My only complaint is that some of the sites are extremely small. I had my sewer on one side of my 15' trailer, and my neighbors right at my entry door on the other side. There was no place to park my car completely off the road, and have a picnic table. Thankfully, I knew my neighbors and it made it work. Then there were others with ample space. Staff is amazing! And the ducks were great entertainment!

Cool spot on the edge of the Coronado National Forest. We enjoyed our lake side RV space with full hookup. The pool and hot tub area was nice. Peacful tranquil bliss was most fulfilling.

Contrasting this resort with several others in the area between Tombstone and Benson I honestly have to say that this is not my favorite community, because a healthy community would bring richness, and support systems, that are both practical and emotional, ensure everyone feels included. They would have activities and events that promote interaction and collaboration strengthen bonds. Ultimately, a good community thrives on trust, empathy, and a collective commitment to each other's well-being. I saw no evidence of that here. Instead of feeling heard and validated by a reasonable complaint filed with management, they minimized my complaint and all but dismissed it.
Instead of fostering open communication with the staff and management, they dismissed my request.
My own experience with the management was insulting behavior and lacked empathy.
I did not get a favorable response from the general manager.
The sites are overpriced. They are all different sizes, and shapes. The artesian water is a plus, and so is their laundry room which is large and clean. But that's it. The electric is higher than most other places in Benson. The activities as I said are not exciting. Even their music selections are put off. The peace and tranquility that they brag about, is contingent on the cooperation of others and of the work campers. My experience with this was very bad. I endured reckless and annoying music being played by work camper , day and night.
Like I said this resort has zero appreciation for long term campers. ***Park policies are rewritten continuously.
The good side is:**There are several community-based, respectful RV resorts that are LESS expensive in the Benson area. They are run by PROFESSIONALS, the workers are paid wages, and RVers are treated equitably with respect, and appreciation. Do your research!
I did not enjoy my stay.
