This location is the cutest, most friendly and comfortable space! They also offer the most whimsical of outdoor spaces to also dine at. The staff is so friendly, so kind and tie a bow on the entire experience!

You won’t want to pass up on this cute place. Be sure to bring your friends and a nice book to snuggle up on the couch with.

Such a cozy lil' coffee shop in South Sioux City. We stopped by after staying next door at the Hobbit house and the owners who also run this cafe are just the loveliest. We enjoyed our muffin and biscuits and gravy, and the quiet morning on this property. Hope to visit again soon. ☀️

I wish I could give this place a 15 star rating, it really does feel like a mom and pop coffee shop. The food is soooooooooo good we’ve never had anything bad there and what we do get is magical. Even the water tasted so good. The owners are just the sweetest people. I think it is the best place to study and will be my new study spot. Thank you to the owners you make this place very special

Wonderful in all regards! Fresh, made to order food, with fresh ingredients. Happy people who are glad to see you make each visit pleasurable. Nice weather allows you to sit outside and enjoy the plants, wildlife, ponds, gazebo, etc. Also a tree house and hobbit house available to rent! Must visit!

Friendly, quick service and delicious food! We enjoyed breakfast outside by the pond. We took two cinnamon rolls with us and devoured them warm from the dashboard as a perfect afternoon snack while sitting on the Lake Oahe dam near Pierre, SD and ate the rest of our burritos as dinner!

This place slays. I do not have enough time to tell you all of the reasons that I love the Koffie Knechtion. Their food is homemade and incredible. I cannot get away from ordering these steel cut oats with fruit and so many other goodies. Their quiche, pastries, biscuits and gravy, oh my God the breakfast sandwich, and basically anything I have had is so good. Their coffee is delicious, and they have all the espresso drinks you could want. The shop itself is cozy and very homelike. The outdoor space is so nice if the weather allows. In the summer they have live music, craft shows, and more. Oh, and they also have two airbnb properties on their grounds. One is a treehouse, and the other is a hobbit house! How flipping cool?! The owners are adorable and if you go make sure to tell Maureen that Alex sent you!

This is a make yourself at home kind of place. Warm welcoming atmosphere. Maureen’s heavenlies (muffins) are seriously heavenly. Great coffee, soups and QUICHE and sandwiches. All fresh and delish. The treehouse and the hobbit house are one of a kind and cleverly done. It’s worth a trip to visit the Koffie Knechtion ! Love this little hidden gem. 😘

The most wholesome Saturday stop. Thank you to Maureen & Ashley for the amazing hospitality and conversations. So hard to decide what to order because everything sounded so amazing! After much thought, I went with the breakfast sandwich with turkey and grabbed Mediterranean quiche for later. Could not be happier!
I absolutely will be back to stay at the treehouse.
