I hosted a bridal luncheon at the Jackie O House Memorial Day weekend. I searched high and low for the perfect setting for this very special bride, I wanted the perfect setting, something beautiful, classic and elegant. The dining room, foyer, sitting room and kitchen were perfect for what I needed. Annie Pearl was the most gracious hostess and the booking agency was very accommodating to my every need and request. Even when the air conditioning went out 2 days prior to my event, they had it replaced with a new unit. I highly recommend the Jackie O House for parties, showers, or for staying overnight. You will feel very welcomed and Annie Pearl will take excellent care of you. True Southern Hospitality at it finest.

I stayed at the Jackie O' House over a year ago (but the earliest the website here would let me choose was August 2013), when I was relocating to Columbus temporarily for work. Cathy and Annie Pearl made my stay so enjoyable and comfortable. Between trips, I stayed at the house twice, with the second time being for a longer period of time. Miss Annie would greet me with 'Welcome Home!' when I would arrive in the evening after a long day at work and I must say that was sooo nice!. The breakfasts were always awesome and the rooms are all very lovely. I was able to actually stay in two different rooms and they were both very comfortable, well appointed and unique. The Rose room with it's sitting/reading room on one side and the Margaret with it's HUGE bathroom are both awesome rooms and I totally enjoyed my stays. So much so that, in a few weeks, I hope to stay there again before I leave Columbus.

I am a bit late writing this review as we stayed at the Jackie O house a few years ago after our wedding night. We are both from Columbus, but wanted to stay somewhere away from all the wedding stuff and our familes. Our room was amazing. The rooms keep the charm of the home, but with modern conveniences. We were so comfortable we almost didn't want to leave for our honeymoon! Breakfast in the morning was also amazing. Perfect, romantic place to get away.

My husband and daughter booked this bb to attend a football game in the area. It was confirmed and paid for through booking.com. |They flew in and drove an hour to Jackie o’s. My husband called several times that day and left messages that they would be arriving apx. 9pm. No response from the property but they had no where else to stay so they continued on to this bb. They arrived at the property and no one would answer the door. After many attempts at calling my husband finally gave up and called me to try to help him and my daughter find another place to stay and it was now 10pm. Booking.com even called them to try to get them to answer. Now we will be trying to get back our 406.30 that they charged. If you book this place you’d better have a backup and hope that someone will be there to honor the booking. Shameful that there hasn’t been any apologies or communication from this property after what they did to two exhausted travelers. Do not trust this place.

The Jackie O House is a beautiful 100 year-old house named after the owner's daughter. It's located on a large property and is quite attractive. We stayed the week before Christmas and the house was nicely decorated. It's located about a mile out of town (use 11th or 15th for access to avoid most stop signs). Your host is Annie Pearl who is always quick to offer a smile and a laugh. ||The top floor is all bedrooms of various design. We stayed in The Margaret room. It was a large room with a very comfortable king bed. It had a big bathroom and adjoining closet. There is a sofa for sitting and viewing the TV. The room could really use more surface area to put things and it would feel more spacious with two chairs instead of the sofa. The TVs are older SD and a little small. With the low price of HDTVs today, it would be a good time to upgrade and take advantage of the existing HDTV signal. It would also be an easy, nice touch if extension cords were run from outlets to where they are commonly needed (everyone needs power these days). All of the windows in the house could use a cleaning - this diminished the potentially nice views. Note that as there were no other guests in our party, we enjoyed access to the little sun room where we enjoyed relaxing and reading!||For breakfast I was really hoping for homemade baked goods, biscuits and gravy, and other typical Southern fare - but not to be. Fresh fruit was a highlight and the scrambled eggs were soft - just the way I prefer. But the rest was a little disappointing including store bought bagels on day one. The dining room was light, spacious and enjoyable, and the dinnerware was elegant. ||There is a military uniform factory located on the adjacent property. This wasn't a problem, but it does have some sort of industrial blower that contributes somewhat to the noise level. Saturday was noticeably quieter. ||All in all, it was a good experience. If the owner would pay attention to a few more details that make a difference, this would have been an outstanding stay!

The Jackie O House is a great B&B choice for Columbus. It is very clean and has modern amenities. The upstairs suite with its own day room is very special.||They also have a large event yard with a well thought out electrical supply to power the biggest sound system and lighting. Cathy will take great care of you.

We stayed two nights at the Jackie O' House for our fourth anniversary. Annie Pearl was so friendly and accommodating! We felt right at home every moment we were there. Our suite was lovely and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back!

I grew up in this house, and the buyers of it from Dad's estate have done a phenominal job turing it into a B&B. It is more than this, however. In this small town, this is simply the best place to stay, and the owners have done all that can be done to be a part of our community. ||||This gem is well worth the stay. I bought the lady that rose me ( aThe Help thing), and her twin sister, a night at the Jackie O. Ella and I were amazed at the transformation. You will be pampered in this home, and encounter beauty at every turn.||||David Owen
