I practically grew up here, and I’d hate to see it get too busy — it’s such a nice, relaxed bar/pub. If you're looking for a spot to enjoy a drink by a small river while soaking in the beauty of Glen Ellen, I highly recommend stopping in. The food is always amazing, and they often have live music and more; I believe there’s even a chess group that meets on Thursdays right now. The prices are fair too, especially considering the location. It's definitely worth a visit!

I always like it when I have the opportunity to stay here when visiting Sonoma and the surrounding area. The rooms are a great combination of quaint and rustic. Also the surrounding neighborhood has cool places like the French bakery and the Jack London Saloon.

Amazing food for a bar!!! We had our 13 year old and we went there because they had a pool table. Once they stop serving food it becomes a bar so no kids allowed. We had a great time and great food!

I love this bar. The bar staff are amazing and super fun. Drinks are great Ian makes a rocking cocktail. Erin, Ian and Chantel are just happy with great vibes. The menu left a little to be desired seems pretty small. The bigger is yummy though. Nice back area with pool table and beautiful outdoor patio near the creek.

Rooms are very misrepresented. As soon as we opened the door it was a flash back to the 70's. This place needs a major renovation. Everything is just old and worn out. Heavy harsh chemical smell from what ever they use hung in the room for the 2 days we were there. Bed was completely broke down. Grounds were clean and the pool area nice.They could really have something nice if they would revamp the rms and bathrooms. For the money, VERY DISAPPOINTED.

This is a cute place in a charming location, but it needs some considerable revamping to bring it up to snuff. Rooms are very dated and rather spartan (e.g., no rug, no desk or table to work from or eat at, tiny wall-mounted TV, cheap toiletries, etc.). Walls, doors and baseboards were pretty scuffed up, and floors and bathroom didn’t feel nearly as clean as they should have. The window blind didn’t close all the way and didn’t feel entirely private (note: no blackout drapes here… bring a sleep mask if you’re bothered by light). Staff was friendly and there’s a cool old tavern on the property that’s very popular with the locals. There’s also a pool (unheated during my stay) and jacuzzi that looked well-tended to. There’s an upscale, surprisingly large market across the street, as well as a patisserie and a couple of excellent restaurants nearby. The place has some nice things going for it, and I would happily return if they’d just upgrade the rooms.
