My coworkers and I have stayed at the Inn at Locke several times while working in the area since 2018 and it has always been a great experience. Connie and Dean are wonderful hosts. It is really nice staying in this beautiful old house that is meticulously maintained and furnished with antique furniture. There is a huge garden with many spots to have drinks/dinner/lounge in the sun. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. I have only stayed there while on work trips, but I'm sure it would be a great place for a wine country getaway. We'll be back!

I have never been to a bed and breakfast before but my husband and I decided to try a bed and breakfast for the first part of our honeymoon. This place absolutely blew our expectations out of the water. The attention to care and detail was amazing. The breakfast every morning was amazing. The building itself is gorgeous, and just spending time in the living room was such a beautiful antique space. Spending time in the yard in the shade was some of the most relaxing time we had in the Lodi area.

It really helps how much wine tasting and great restaurants are nearby. It's a great deal for the level of service and beauty and location. We hope to come back again for our anniversary. We'd recommend it to any of our friends.

What a lovely inn and great hosts. What first caught our attention was the myriad hummingbirds swarming the feeders in Lani's awesome gardens. It was so nice to relax on the patio while watching their antics while scrub jays vied for our attention in the background. Although we were in the heart of wine country, first and foremost, we are birders, in this case in search of the yellow-billed magpie, which we found south of town.
As for the inn, it's a work of love in its restoration, done in great detail and with care. Be sure to read the printed history, very well written by Lani, that is in each room--it will give you an even greater appreciation of the building.
As Montana residents we were wowed by not only the flower gardens but also the marvelous, huge old oak tree as well as almond and persimmon trees that in the North we can only dream about.
As food lovers, we were thrilled with the breakfasts each morning that included locally made sausage. We felt like royalty.
I can think of no negatives to describe the stay and hope to be able to return someday. Kudos to Lani and Richard for a memorable stay.

My fiance and I were in the area for our wedding in Linden and decided to stay some place away from the family. My fiance found The Inn at Locke House. It's a very cool historic location in a rustic setting. The owners, Connie and Dean are the nicest people you will ever meet; very friendly and helpful. Hopefully, you'll also be greeted by their cute pup, Waffle! They upgraded us to the Water Tower a.k.a. the honeymoon suite. We both loved the room and the soaring spiral staircase that lead to the top of the tower for a bird's eye view of the property. We had a terrific breakfast the next day (our wedding day!); it was wonderful. Connie asked us if we would have breakfast the next day and we told her we had an early start getting a 10:00 brunch ready for family and also a wine tour and that we might not have time for breakfast. Connie made breakfast for us a little earlier to make sure we ate before we were off to make breakfast for family and friends and the start of a long day wine tasting. That was super sweet of her. The next day were leaving very early in the morning, so we told Connie we wouldn't see her for breakfast. She took it upon herself to make my wife(!) and myself a goodie bag so we would have something to eat as we're traveling home. I've been retail for 40 years and I believe in great customer service but nowadays it's hard to find. It's refreshing to find owners that care so much about their customers to go out of the way to make them feel special. We are definitely going back to this wonderful Inn Connie and Dean, you are the best!

I'm a real history buff so loved staying in this historic inn. The original house was started during the Civil War and with the period furniture and old artifacts on display, this was a real treat. Well located in Lodi wine country and the gateway to more historic sites in the Sierra foothills. Innkeepers/owners Connie and Dean really went the extra mile to accommodate all our requests as well. The breakfasts, hospitality, etc. are all first rate. Loved it!

This is a beautiful inn with tons of history. The innkeepers are friendly and starting the day off with their breakfast is a joy. I have never had this much fun in a hotel this is my first bed and breakfast. Hopefully next time we're passing through we can stay here a little longer. Simply amazing.

The Inn at Locke House is a Bed and Breakfast Mansion that is filled with charm around every turn. We were given a tour that was filled with fun and interesting stories about the original family who were inspired to make this their grand home. The food was freshly made and presented in such a way that left us all talking about what a unique experience we shared.
We found the two innkeepers who live there
to be so gracious and reflect their love of this outstanding property.

Best breakfasts I've ever had at a B & B, Lani is an awesome cook. We came in to play in Lodi, but the Inn is farther from town than we realized - about a 20 min drive. But a great option nonetheless.
