We had an incredible stay in a 2 bedroom suite. Extremely clean and comfortable. Loved having a full kitchen. Each room had a super comfortable bed and a huge closet for all of our gear. The grab n go breakfast was perfect. The property was quiet and conveniently located to everything that we wanted to do. We also think that this was a very affordable option compared to cabins in the area. We will definitely be back. I'm already trying to figure out when I can make it back to this area!!

The staff were incredible. Super helpful and very engaging. I visited from about 6 hours away and they were able to accomodate me quickly and very generously. I was behind the breakfast hours but they grabbed treats and drinks from the back to help me out and show some love. I'm excited to visit again in the future.

Loved the place the moment we walked in. I thought their decorations were really cute and it smelled very nice when we walked in. The girl at the front seat was very pleasant and sweet. The room was great. Looks like newly renovated. Everything very clean. Loved the bed and shower. Really like that they have a laundry option if needed. Area was nice and quiet. Girl in the front in the morning very sweet and helpful. Definitely happy I chose this place to stay. Would recommend.

Stairs made it difficult to go in and out with the dog. When we asked about rooms in the other building with outside entrances for our next visit, we were told that the owners "don't like dogs in that building", even though the website says that all rooms are dog friendly. Staff stated is because those rooms have carpet which is almost white.

The entire stay, the rear door wouldn't allow us back in with our cards. The staff complained that it never works. We had to bring the dog in through the lobby, where there was cereal spilled on the floor from breakfast, food, people, etc. all weekend.

We had 2 room cards, but no matter how many times they reprogrammed them, only 1 would work at a time.

Seems like it could be a great hotel, if they could work out the quirks with cards, and actually thought about the logistics of staying with pets when they designed the facility.

Howard was very rude for no good reason to my family and I when we were checking in. I have stayed here before and everyone was super nice so I hate to leave a bad review but if Howard works there I will not book again. I come to the area often for skiing and hiking. Everyone else was super friendly but the interaction with Howard was rude and unwelcoming. The experience made me dread passing the front desk because of the rudeness (and we were going through a hard time with a loved one in the hospital). Be whoever you are but just be nice.

Positive: I loved the staff. Extremely friendly they made me feel welcome and appreciated me as a guest, The preformed thier task effectively. Negative: As a person with allergies.?The fragrance smell was over done gave me headaches. But I found out the reason for perfume fragrances was to cover up the over done bleach. I had to cut my visit short due to fragrances and bleach.

This is a basic hotel that meets all of your overnight needs. Very clean rooms, pleasant and helpful staff, nice complimentary breakfast in the morning.
This is not a luxury hotel by any means, but it is a great choice if you need a place near Canaan valley, White Grass or Davis.

The good: The staff was excellent! Friendly, helpful, accommodating. The room was very clean.|The BAD: There was no sound dampening! From our room which was located very close to the reception desk, we could hear EVERY conversation- even though our door was closed and most people were not talking loudly. We could also hear traffic noises. It was like we were standing on the berm of the road. The breakfast selections were not great. No protein! The cereals and breads were all very sugary. May I suggest providing Greek yogurt and regular Cheerios?
