I was in town for the first time doing some business and wanted to take some donuts or something to my business meeting. I didn't really see anything in town that would work so I went to this coffee house and they had the most delightful scones and some other pastries that were delicious and some looked like a patisserie in Paris. My Americano was good. The pastries were better. I'm not a huge scone fan. I find them to be dry. These were not. I had an apple cinnamon and a cream puff that was a mess to eat in the car on way home but was delicious. The interior design is stunning. It's very well done. I go in a lot of coffee shops in a lot of states and honestly this is as nicely appointed as any I've been in. You would have no idea you weren't in a big city coffee shop if you were just standing inside. Parking stuff but it's more because of the town's weird roads and I guess the river. I had the circle a couple times but I found some parking to the left of the front of the establishment. The daughter was running the show she was very nice and I'm at the mother who had baked that mornings pastry selection

Stopped here for breakfast on our way back from Big Bend Campground. Cute. Delicious. They had Bluey and Bingo Frappes with or without espresso. My 6 year old loved having a specialty drink of her own

Grove Cafe & Bakery has the nicest customer service. I forgot my backpack there on a Sunday, and they kept it safe with everything intact until I picked it up on Wednesday. Not only is the quality of service great, but the quality of the food and drinks they serve is amazing as well. Would definitely suggest their smoothies and turnovers/pinwheels among others. Thank you Grove Cafe & Bakery!!!

A hidden gem I came across going to a hike at the Chimney Top Via Landis. The Chai latte and the banana Nutella wrap were wonderful. I would definitely come back to this place.

Passing through town on our way back home and stopped by for some breakfast before a long drive back to Maine.

The menu on the website looked promising with breakfast sandwiches, lattes, and baked goods, at a reasonable price. The cafe was tastefully decorated and the service was excellent. There are however, a few reasons I rated food as only 3-stars.

I got a shaken espresso latte, which had good flavor, but was way too sweet! It was also a little pricey at $5.25 for about 6-8 oz of latte. Similar story with the bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel breakfast sandwich. It was a little pricey at $9 for a breakfast sandwich on a Thomas bagel with microwave bacon. Plus, the website menu lists bagel breakfast sandwiches at $5, which is probably closer to what the sandwich was worth. Let me be clear that there was nothing wrong with the sandwich and it tasted pretty good, but the value just wasn’t there. Finally, I got a raspberry white chocolate scone, which was incredible! Would’ve been 5 stars if based on the scone alone.

Overall, the cafe has a lot of potential, but has some things to work out.

We were passing through the area and In need of some coffee to get us going- Wife found this local jewel!! Outdoor seating was cozy and plentiful, indoor seating limited but still nice area. Staff very nice and engaging and BONUS they also had some delicious doughnuts they had picked up from a local bakery (50 dozen we were told and almost gone). We went with two specialty coffees and shared a breakfast sandwich. Awesome find and you can’t go wrong stopping here- be mindful though, they have pastries and the like but as of this day, the doughnuts are an every other Friday find.
