This place is incredible! Such a perfect blend of historic and modern, with renovated rooms that still keep the hotels’ antique charm intact. The people here could not have been more friendly and our stay was comfortable and fun. If you’re in town, make sure to check out any concerts that come through the attached music venue and get coffee and lunch at Lemon Door next door!

Booked a room at the hotel originally because the price was so fair! Little did I know upon arrival I was to be so well taken care of. I called ahead and asked for an early check in the girl was happy to oblige and was super friendly and courteous when I did show up. After checking in I had some questions they were again happy to help answer all these. The room was clean and neat. Bed was super comfortable (unlike most hotel beds I’ve experienced). I explored the hotel the next morning and found it to be beautiful, had an old time very homey feel. Met the soon to be owners whom made me feel so welcome! They were super courteous and willing to go above and beyond to accommodate! I requested a late checkout and again they were happy to allow that to happen. I would highly recommend staying here from the friendly hosts to the beautiful hotel! I will most certainly be staying again in the near future and look forward to visiting w what felt like to me new friends/owners of this fine place!

This place should be in Wisconsin and Midwest Top 10 lists for reasons you must see a place in person. I don't even know where to start. The owner was outstanding and super accommodating. We asked to switch rooms to one without carpet, and they cleaned one immediately for us.

We got a tour of the entire ground floor. It includes an old restaurant that looks like a little village with a stream (soon to be) running through it, an old bar that was imported from France, and a banquet hall with a gold ceiling.

The owner told us we could explore as much as we liked, and as you can see from the attached photos, I did just that.

The rooms had decent wifi and TV with more channels than I have at home. We ended up signing into our YouTube account on the TV, though.

To say our room was clean is an understatement. I've heard people describe bedsheets as "crisp" before, but now, I know what they're talking about.

The rooms all use their own keypad entry, so there were no key cards to keep track of, thankfully.

There's no breakfast, but there is coffee. You can use the free coffee to fuel your walks to one of the nearby cafes and restaurants. Two amazing places to eat within a block. Even more within a few blocks.

I went looking for a quiet place to work one afternoon, and while there isn't a dedicated business center space, there is plenty of available space to work quietly in. Once again, the owner was happy to show me around and help me find a space that would work for me to get some emails sent and files edited.

Overall, it's an amazing place, with phenomenal people staffing it, and I can't wait to go back to explore the hotel some more.

Had a very nice experience at Fenway House on Thanksgiving day. I rented "The Venue" room for our family dinner so we could all sit down together without being crowded or having to balance plates on our laps. Catered in the turkey, ham and trimmings from Bender's Foods and potlucked the side dishes. The new owners, Parker and Jamie, were very friendly and helpful and the accommodations were excellent! Everyone had a relaxed and enjoyable dinner plus we were given a guided "historical" tour of the bar room and banquet room areas. We highly recommend it for small or large events. Fenway House is sort of a hidden treasure so stop by and take a look and then book it for future gatherings or out of town guests.

Had the pleasure of meeting Parker and his family over the weekend while we were traveling through town for two nights. True gentleman that ensured an outstanding stay. He was able to work out the snags in our travel plans and render an accommodation that worked with those I was traveling with. Outstanding customer service. We will be returning again next year for our annual trip to an incredibly beautiful part of the midwest knowing that you can get five star service with a true small town personal touch at a great location.

Everything you read in other reviews about the charming, unique nature of this hotel is spot on. Definitely not your "cookie cutter" modern space. Lots of character. Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. ||The downside is the road noise. The hotel is right on a busy main street that has plenty of traffic - and there is little to insulate from that noise if you are on that side of the building. I would avoid rooms that face the main street (102, 102, 105, 106). The side street rooms and back side rooms seemed much quieter. ||I would stay again, but would choose a different room.

I travel for work. And this was the first place that I was able to get into. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. I was there over Thanksgiving holiday and they made me feel welcome and not alone.

I stayed here two nights while working out of town. I had an excellent experience. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My room as well as the lobby were very clean and well maintained. The whole place smelled very nice, which is weird for me to say because I don't usually notice smells unless they are bad, but it smelled good. The location is right downtown within short walking distance of a few places to get a drink and some food. I will definitely stay here again while working in the area!
