The guest house has great atmosphere. The bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. They had coffee and a coffee maker and a small selection of cereal. We went out to get our own breakfast. The owner was not aware that we were coming even though we had an email confirmation. It all worked out okay though.

Beautiful location, very private and generally better than the photos. The house is impressive and the log cabin feel is like a dream. A little difficult to find, and cooking is challenging - no stove. An installed grill outside would be fantastic! Also, beach access is great, but not well advertised as being in the back of another property. We would have booked it and we loved it anyway - just unexpected.

It's was a beautiful setting. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Nice fireplace that was lit when we arrived. Lots of privacy. I thought is was a great value for a short getaway. I hope to be able to go again soon.

What an absolute gem of a place!! My fiance and I stayed at the Heron House and were completely blown away by this place- from the warm hospitality and the free kayaks to take as you please, to the incredibly beautiful cabin with thoughtful touches. Truly an incredible experience and would recommend this spot to anyone and everyone. We'll be back!!

This is an absolutely astonishing place! Secluded, remote and as peaceful as the woods that surround the house. The Heron House is well appointed and is as comfortable as an old sweater that keeps you warm no matter what the weather. This would be a great place to spend a few months and write a best seller. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening we spent.

Stayed one night at The Eld House and loved it! Cottage has everything a traveler could need. Super clean. Gorgeous surroundings. Tasty breakfast with muffins, juice, fresh fruit. Loved kayaking out on the water. Highly recommend!

A very nice cabin, that's very unique and custom built. It is a beautiful beach front property, and the host's were great and friendly. I highly recommend it.
