Cute hotel, great service, nice pool area, and live music (at least one of our nights). However, the rooms seem to need maintenance - multiple loose or not working outlets, closet door that didn’t fully close, and loose bathroom fixtures. The beds were uncomfortable- 2/4 of us had hip/back pain after our second night. Mattresses were pretty hard. The Hilton app could use more details about amenities, check in/out time, laundry, etc. Overall, it’s a nice hotel but I probably wouldn’t stay again because of the hard beds.

Had an amazing stay here with my boyfriend. Bartenders/servers were kind. Housekeeping was attentive. My grandmother used to work in housekeeping so I have high expectations when it comes to cleanliness. For the most part, everything was clean. The only complaint that I have is that the conditioner bottle was completely emptied when we were there and we only stayed for one night and there was a man’s long black hair in the shower. I am not a fan of sharing shampoo, body wash, and conditioner bottles from previous guests. It’s a bit gross. Other than that, I had a great time. Good drinks, quiet, the heated pool, hot tub, and fire pits were nice. The bed was comfortable. Parking is convenient and the hotel is in the middle and in between la encantada mall and the st Phillips plaza/ Tucson mall and not far from where ever you need to be or visit in Tucson. Growing up here my whole life, It’s a safe area.

I stayed at The Eddy for the first time last week. I had seen it being built two years ago and was intrigued. It is a solid hotel in a safe, centrally located spot in the Foothills. I had an issue with the thermostat in my room on day one of six. No matter what I set it at, it would not get over 64 degrees in the room. After a few calls to the Front Desk, John the Hotel Engineer came to my room. After a few attempts to reset the system, he realized it was a bigger problem. He got a hold of Asst. GM Josh, and after a brief delay while I enjoyed breakfast, I was given a new room three doors down. The rest of my stay was just peaceful and enjoyable. I thank John for taking the issue seriously and following through until there was a successful outcome. Thanks to him, I can definitely recommend The Eddy to anyone heading to Tucson.

Good: Interior design, food
Bad: TERRIBLE beds, lukewarm water never got hot

After giving Hilton a try starting last year, properties like this are while I’m going to avoid this brand going forward unless it’s one of their top end offerings. While there are plenty of downsides with lower and mid-tier Marriott and Hyatt hotels (e.g., terrible buffet breakfast), I can always rely on mattresses at their properties to be comfortable.

If you can sleep on a cheap mattress, then this isn’t bad for a budget option.

Overall, solid hotel. Hotel and Rooms are very well designed, but most all room face a parking lot so look for a room overlooking the pool. We paid a bit extra for a 2nd floor balcony room with a pool view, well worth the $10 per night. Hotel facility is much better than your average aged Hilton or a Hilton Garden Inn. Bar/Restuant was high quality and great for outdoor dining. Pool / Hot Tub was nice but had a bee issue but maintenance was on it quickly. Caution to Hilton Diamonds/Golds, this hotel does not care about status, which is surprising because it is way more of a nice business hotel than a resort. We had to beg for a late 2pm check out, after multiple requests we got an hour to 1pm, which was clearly an inconvenience to them which was surprising since capacity was only about 30 percent. It's the simple things that bring one back... quality room Yes, great common areas Yes, above average food Yes, but a 2 hour late check out was too much to ask for a multiple night stay in a paid premium room (not an upgrade).

Update: reduced from 3 star to 2 stars after housekeeping knocked on door and asked us to leave at Noon. Called the front desk and asked for a manager on duty and was told there was no manager working. Proceed with caution if this is your desired destination.

I stayed here 2 nights. The room was great-very clean and updated. My only issue was the service at the cafe downstairs. It was very slow. There wasn’t much to grab and go, or I would've just done that. I don’t think they had enough help and the woman who was there seemed nice, but overwhelmed. The wait was too long on Sat, but Sunday I waited and the food was very good.

We loved our stay at The Eddy! We booked at the last minute as our plans with friends and other lodging changed. I chose this hotel based on all of the other great reviews! The front desk people were great as were the maintenance people ( very responsive to replacing a burnt out lightbulb by our nightstand, quickly fixing the hot tub jets, and turning on the fire pit). We enjoyed sitting in the bar area and having a drink and light dinner as well as a delicious breakfast the next morning. The rooms were very nicely appointed with comfortable beds. Would love to stay here again!

Tucked up an enchanting road, just a short walk to wonderful dining, you'll find this beautiful Hilton seamlessly blending into the surrounding landscape. An inviting and comfortable lobby welcomes you as do simple--and very well laid out for the space--rooms and upgraded and esthetically pleasing amenities--seriously the pool area is stunning. ||Evening bar staff were amazing and a wonderful source for dinner suggestions--go to Seis Kitchen, seriously--as was housekeeping. The front desk was a mixed bag on service--we stayed on two separate occasions--but overall quite pleasant and accommodating.||4 stars in stead of 5, you ask? Indeed. Breakfast was lacking in both substances and service (new server) for the price point (though I will say the house made granola was quite tasty) and there was an issue with a large charge being added to my room which was not mine and took a few phone calls to get resolved.
