Great. Maximum nice fancy hotel in great location. Awesome views, big comfy rooms and super beds. Fast elevators and cool stuff to do all over the place. Superb staff. No fridges in the room (as expected in top level hotel) and the down blankets on the
beds are a bit thin and janked-up ... Like washed too many times. Gotta jack up heater if you like sleeping toasty. This place is fabulous, I just like a bit more free stuff, like breakfast. Stay here for sure if luxury and location is your high importance.

I recently stayed at the Davenport Grand Hotel and was impressed by the spacious rooms and excellent location. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had plenty of space to relax, which was a huge plus. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown and convention center, making it easy to explore the area.

However, I was surprised to find that there was no fridge or minibar in the room. In the U.S., it’s rare to stay at a hotel without at least a small fridge, so this was a bit inconvenient, especially for storing drinks or healthy snacks that require fridge. If that’s something you rely on during your stay, keep this in mind.

Kelly was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing. It was an evening that Hamilton was showing and it was packed. Kelly was on top of it all. She refilled our drink's, was very attentive to us, and gave great recommendations. She is the best server ever. Tomorrow is her last night. My stay at the Davenport Grand was extremely disappointing. The room's cleanliness, particularly the sheets and comforter, was unacceptable, leading to a rash after two days. I reported this via the feedback form but received a delayed response and no follow-up despite four emails requesting resolution. While the valet provided helpful information and check-in was friendly, the poor room conditions and lack of communication made me feel undervalued as a customer. Overall, I found the management lacking and would not recommend staying here unless you want to deal with unsanitary conditions.

I had the most outstanding experience while staying at this hotel for two nights. The hotel is extremely clean and decorated beautifully. My room had everything I needed plus some special extras. The bed was comfortable in the shower, luxurious. Best part was the exceptional service I received from the moment. I got there until the moment I left. Jordan the valet was friendly and helpful. Alivia at the bar/restaurant delightful and knowledgeable. Forest at Table 13 provided the best service I’ve experienced in a long time. And I appreciated the extra care and assistance from Jacob and Amanda at the front desk. I can’t wait to stay here again! Thank you, Davenport Grand!

I love the Davenport. Especially love the double King rooms. Service is really great as well as the restaurant. Really good value for the price. However, it would be much better if you could stream from your room. TVs need to be upgraded. Other than that we had a nice stay.

Arrival: Arrived by car. Entered at the main entrance that says “valet.” No one was around. ||Check-In: Ana assisted me with check-in. Ana was very helpful and pleasant. Check-in was efficient, and Ana acknowledged my Marriott status. Ana also provided a room upgrade to a junior suite, which was very much appreciated, and some nice peanut brittle. ||Room (suite 1403): A junior suite on the 14th floor situated near the elevators (one wall adjoins the elevator bank. Spacious yet poorly utilized space. For a suite, there really is no comfortable place to sit and relax. The two red chairs are very uncomfortable, and the bed is horrible for sitting and reading. ||Bed: Worn out king bed that slumps toward the center. Worn out flat pillows. The pillows literally need to be thrown away and replaced. Very pathetic and uncomfortable bed. ||Bathroom: nice oversized soaking sub and separate shower. Water pressure for the tub is great, but the shower water pressure is pathetic. Adequate counter space and lighting. ||Parking: On site self-park for $25/day. Easy process for self-parking and in/out during the day. ||Housekeeping: Poor overall. Our first night we left a note with a tip requesting additional pillows. No pillows. After our second night, even though we pushed the “service room” button in the morning before we left for the day, our room simply was not serviced. We called down and requested clean towels and restock of water and coffee. Instead, a housekeeper was sent and she performed a rushed but full service of our room. The only problem was that we wanted our room, and we were forced to relocate to the lobby for about an hour. ||Gym: Large gym with new equipment. ||Perks for status: $14/ day breakfast credit (breakfast is so-so)|Misc: (1) No swimming pool. (2) Our room key deactivated during our stay. (3) Hotel is near Riverfront Park.

The price point is also great for the quality you get.||I want to give a huge shoutout to Kirstee at the front desk, she was such a joy to interact with! Her warm, friendly attitude made me feel right at home. She went above and beyond to answer all of my (admittedly silly) questions with a smile and such professionalism. It’s rare to meet someone who truly embodies the spirit of hospitality, and Kirstee is definitely one of those people.||If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, beauty, and outstanding service, this hotel is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be back!
