Best cheese curds I’ve ever had. Best fried chicken sandwich ever also! My wife had the South Shore Hoagie, it was also excellent. Owner was awesome! Super friendly, attentive, fun to talk to. She was incredibly busy (only one acting as server and bartender with a full room) and still was on top of everything, didn’t forget anything.

Hands down the best food in the area. What a hidden gem this place is! We had driven by many times when we visit the area but had never stopped until now. If you’re a cheese curd fanatic like we are, the cheese curds here are some of the best ones you’ll ever have. Not to mention the Smokey ranch sauce they come with is absolutely amazing. I also ordered the pot pie which is normally something I wouldn’t order when out to eat, but previous google reviews convinced me to give it a try. It was outstanding! The crust was flaky and the inside was creamy and delicious! My husband ordered the Alfredo with steak and also said it was amazing. The staff were all great and also contribute to what a wonderful establishment this is! We will certainly be back every time we are in the area to enjoy the outstanding food and people that make this a must-stop place! 10/10.

Unexpectedly super delicious! Both the server and chef were so nice and welcoming. We grabbed lunched from there and had to go back for dinner. A must-have is the chicken pot pie. Wished I could've ordered some food to go for the road, but they weren't opened yet. The husband kept forgetting to order me a pie, wished I would've gotten a chance to try it, but I am sure it would be super delicious too. Money well spent here, highly recommended.

First off, the cheese curds were the best I’ve ever had in my entire life, not even exaggerating and I have them everywhere we go. My wife had the chicken dinner and she said it was dry and not that great, she didn’t finish it nor take the rest to go. My pizza was ok but the crust was burnt, like they just pulled it out of a house fire burnt. Atmosphere was great though so that made up for the food snaffu. We were really looking forward to our first good meal in the area, especially after seeing the delicious looking options. Maybe it was an off day for the cook or something so take it in stride, I’m only reviewing our experience.

I love every single little thing about this place. The bartenders are cool and very customer focused. The food is the best I have had in the entire Midwest and like Johnny Cash, I have been every where. This place is my favorite in south shore. Bring back open mic night! The only bad thing about this place is that their FRIES ARE TOO GOOD! They should be illegal because the rosemary, and cruncky exterior fries are always consumed entirely….by myself…. I might be addicted to these fries. Also the oakie burger is the best damn burger. Fire Bear signing off.

Excellent food hidden away in Herbster! Craft drinks worthy of Miami Beach! Fresh Home Made Sour Mix for perfect Margaritas!

A very cool looking establishment with a bar that looks west and over the lake. Sunsets in the evening, they can lower the menu board to block the sun in a unique way that lets you still see the lake and horizon.

The food is fresh and good. The Roast Beef Po Boy was awesome! And I already mentioned the margarita but this place obviously makes craft drinks and they all looked very good!

Definitely a great stop on the Snowmobile Trail! I look forward to making the Drive to Herbster just to eat here after sledding melts. Maybe time me next trim to Duluth to pass by for a meal and a drink!

By far the best food in the area. The owner and entire staff are amazing. Unique menu with great choices served quickly. I have owned a bar/restaurant for 17 years and have an eye for a well run business. I have visited many times over several years and never been disappointed. Every menu item and specials are well thought out and prepared. I always enjoy an evening of food and cocktails while in the area. All my friends agree. Try the Buffalo Brussel Sprouts for an amazing appetizer.

Jojo was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We were are party of 15 and she did an excellent job taking care of us. Beyond the spectacular service, the food and drinks were outstanding. I literally can’t say enough good things about my experience here! Highly, highly recommend! 20/5 stars
