My wife and I visited this establishment and were truly impressed with the quality of the food and wholesome atmosphere. They are a bit pricey, but again, well worth it. I had the catfish and grits. That fish was incredibly fried to perfection. My wife had the big back breakfast . It had fish, shrimp and lobster tails, eggs, potatoes, and toast. I will definitely eat there again

Really nice atmosphere with a really energetic vibe and the food is on point fire! I had the strawberry waffles that were strawberry waffles not just strawberries and whipped cream! They brought out chicken because I had waffles and chicken and the chicken was 🔥! My sister had the grits and lobster and for those who know about grits please believe these grits were fire AND not your nasty lumpy watery non-cooked grits!
THEY were very complimentary to the lobster and seasons used. It was very flavorful and kudos to the cook! These was the best grits and lobster I ever had says my sister who goody and a cook and is from the South.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times and I’ve never had a bad experience. I love that it’s family-owned and the food is always on point with phenomenal service to match. Our server, Dinora, was super attentive and friendly. We ordered the build-your-own breakfast platter with catfish and the veggie omelette which were excellent choices. The strawberry and pineapple mimosas were a nice touch. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and even though it was busy, there was plenty of seating and the wait time was only about 5–10 minutes. All in all, the experience here is always great. This place is definitely a must visit!

I ordered at the store and waited there for my order. When I open my take out box (while in store) My fries had oil dripping from it and they were fried in a very old oil by the color. The burger came in pieces, like someone had shaken the box, it had no flavor at all. I’m not sure if they forgot the salt and everything else. It was pretty plain and tasteless. I couldn’t eat the fries, they were soggy and burnt. I would not recommend it!

I definitely enjoyed this restaurant. Good vibes, good customer service. The food was good.. I definitely liked the french toast, it was delicious and I like how they give you warm syrup. The strawberry waffles are definitely hitting, too. I also got the bleu burrito. It was coo, but my only complaint is that I found a couple of pieces of shell from the shrimp inside my burrito. Other than that, it was good. I will be returning again, tho. If you're a Mary Jane smoker, Snoop Dogg's weed store is right next door. Take a couple of hits and have some good food. Oh yea, and the fried lobster tail is 🔥 🔥🔥

I recently visited LA in December 2024. My cousin (who resides there) and I had just finished a 4-mile walk along Manhattan Beach and I wanted a unique dining experience. We ended up at The Court Cafe and thoroughly enjoyed our gastronomical feast. She ordered the regular Chicken & Waffle while I ordered the (check this out): Strawberry Shortcake Waffle with strawberry cookie crumble, strawberries, cream cheese icing, whipped cream and powdered sugar! OMG, what in the world It was so delicious. As a diabetic, I did a serious prayer asking God to not allow me to go into a diabetic coma, it was that good! The chicken was seasoned well and fried to perfection and crunchy. The next time I return to LA, I will have to try the Lobster & Sweet Potato Waffle!

Please add this to your list of restaurants to try when you’re in the greater LA Area. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was Delicious. My Order looked almost exactly like the picture...However, I ordered my food at 11:02 and didn't get it until 11:29. To be fair, it was 11am on a Thursday and the place was was full. I've been to this place before it was the Court Cafe, and their specialty was Breakfast Food. Was it worth the $27?, Probably! Think about the same dish and you sit down and Order from a server 🤔. Let's say that you order this, coffee and some OJ. That $27 Becomes $35 very easily, and this is before you add in the tip. Pricey, but the food is very good.

I got the Stuffed French Toast, Taco Omelette and Chicken & Waffles. Overall experience for me is 8.2 out of 10. I would recommend getting the stuffed French toast, it’s enough for 2 people and I would also eat them first before anything. The taco omelette is a good choice too. The chicken and waffles were good but not great.
