We love this boutique hotel! Favorite place to stay in Auburn! The location is extremely convenient to the campus and downtown. The owner Kim was so gracious to accommodate us on a very late night arrival. Michael is the man who makes stuff happen! All of the staff is just lovely! We love the fun atmosphere of the lobby bar/porch and the rooftop! Easy and lovely!

A beautiful place to stay in downtown Auburn with comfy beds and good water pressure. The lobby is pretty and the artwork and vintage Glomeratas were interesting. The people working at check in were very friendly and hospitable. We were disappointed that the rooftop bar wasn’t in operation during our stay. The “light bite breakfast” is just cereal bars and instant oatmeal that you have to eat in a cup. The coffee pot was empty unfortunately, so I got less than half a cup. For the price, a nicer breakfast would be preferable.

My stay at the Collegiate was perfect! The location right next to downtown and the campus is really convenient. The self-park in the back of the building is easy and so much better than fiddling with valet or a parking deck. When I pulled into the front drive for check-in, I was greeted by the manager who was a gracious host throughout my stay. The hotel lobby was cheerful and beautifully furnished. The large side porch hangout is next to the lobby bar - I hope to have better opportunity to utilize it next trip. My room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and comfortable; I particularly liked the nice bathroom. Best of all it was right in my old neighborhood when I was a student so long ago. A friend told me about the Collegiate and I will be telling others.

We were traveling to Orange Beach for the weekend so we decided to stop and stay in Auburn overnight to visit my son at school. We were greeted by everyone in the Lobby immediately. Michael checked us in, gave us a quick run down of the hotel and it's amenities. The 3rd floor room was amazing with a super comfy bed. The hotel took us to and from dinner on their golf cart, which I highly recommend if you are going to enjoy a drink or two at dinner. We look forward to coming back to take advantage of the cool fall nights up on their roof-top.

Stayed here on a roadtrip and really loved it. The room was very nice, with comfortable bed and nice bathroom with a huge shower. Family owned and super-friendly service. They even have a golf cart to whisk you to local destinations. ||The rooftop bar is a lovely patio with great views all around. Live music on weekends during the season. I recommend checking it out even if you’re not staying at the hotel!||Warning - they’re pre-booked way out front during Auburn football weekends…||Other than those dates, this is a great choice if you’re coming to town.

Best boutique hotel ever!! Stayed 3 nights. Friendly, above and beyond staff. The rooms were sun filled, clean and beautifully decorated. The lobby bar and rooftop bar were intoxicating! Made use of the golf cart transportation which was fun to buzz around and really convenient. The history is pretty cool too having been an old dorm. Centrally located with a cool vibes atmosphere - we highly recommend! ?

This is a great hotel! The staff are very friendly and accommodating - quick to fulfill any request. They have a golf cart and will give you a ride to campus or downtown. The hotel is precious with spacious and clean rooms. It is in walking distance to campus and downtown. I would definitely recommend.

I had stayed here many times but the last time I was there with my wife our treatment was unbelievable. They offer a drop of service in a golf cart. On the day we checked in the golf cart was not working so they took us to the basketball arena in an SUV but then decided to suspend the service during the game. During this time it started to rain very hard and they would not pick us up. My wife and I had to walk home in the pouring rain. It is about a mile. The evening manager was so rude about it as we stood in the lobby soaked to the bone. Be ware! They will leave you stranded when it is not convenient for them.
