The Chicken Coop: Palmer’s Best-Kept Secret!

If you haven’t been to The Chicken Coop yet, stop what you’re doing and head over now! This hidden gem in Palmer serves up the most mouthwatering house-made, battered, and fried chicken you’ll ever taste, cooked fresh to order every time. Whether you’re grabbing a quick meal or indulging in a feast, this spot is sure to impress.

The sides here are just as amazing as the chicken itself. Classic fries? Check. Gooey mozzarella sticks? Check. But let me tell you about the Cajun corn. It’s bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and hands-down my favorite side—it hits the spot every single time.

The vibe here is unbeatable, thanks to the friendly owner who clearly has a passion for making every meal unforgettable. You’ll feel right at home while enjoying some of the best food in town.

Do yourself a favor and discover The Chicken Coop. It’s everything you want in comfort food and more! Palmer’s food scene just leveled up.

I wish i could honestly give more than one star but the last time I got food there I through it away after eating one bite. I ordered what I wanted but they did not want me to order that so I caved in over their pressure to get what they recommended, eating what they recommended was a bad idea for me, it turned my stomach and put a heavy butter base grease in my mouth that tastes like butter, I hardly eat or use butter for cooking at home, and I cook a lot at home. The menu item a ordered and wanted to eat has no butter but with the pressure they gave me to buy and eat what they wanted me to eat left me disappointed and hungry, my coworker did not want my food either, so my order after one bite went to the trash instead of my stomach, I wish they would have just accepted what I wanted. It's ok though I'm a grown adult I'll make better decisions next time and not go there again for food in the future. If you decide to go I recommend being rude if you have to to get exactly what you want to eat to avoid getting what they want you to eat.

There's nothing like feeling at home with some brothas in a fry shack. We've chowed down on the chicken sandwich, pork tenderloin, waffles fries, natural fries, and the best fried okra I've had in ages. They must be making the sauces in house and the ones I've tried are great.
I'm gonna to try the wings or catfish meal next.

Really hoping you read this and hook us up with some weekly specials. I'm praying for some chicken and waffles🙏
And some greens!

This is the best $14 plate of food I have had in a long time. Served hot and fresh! Spicy Chicken Sandwich was juicy, crunch and just spicy enough and the home made ranch complimented the flavor very well. The waffle fries are seasoned to perfection. I wish 6 stars was an option! Thank you!

I first went here a year ago. I had to wait an hour for my order, and the wings were overcooked. I went again last week. This time I ordered ahead. I still had to wait 25 minutes for my order, but the wings were cooked perfectly and very tasty. I'd recommend them, just be prepared for a wait

They make some of the best chicken I’ve had in my life and I love getting lunch from them every-once in a while. Pretty good on prices/portions too. Always been very friendly.

Great chicken tenders - juicy and perfectly breaded with plenty of flavor. Cajun corn was super tasty too, sweeter than I was expecting. Will definitely be back!
