Our stay at the Carriage Inn Bed and Breakfast in Charles Town, WV, was nothing short of magical. We very much enjoyed our recent getaway staying at The Carriage Inn B&B! The Charles Town location worked well for our plans to explore Harper’s Ferry and we were surprised with how much we enjoyed the Charles Town area as well, including a very cute Main Street area with shops and dining. Jonathan and Yvonne were excellent hosts and clearly love their work and the Inn! The house itself is in impeccable condition and the extra touches provided by the innkeepers made the stay extra special- from the fresh cookies and coffee/tea/beverages available all day, to the attentive service. We also loved that breakfast each morning had both a savory and a sweet portion.
We will absolutely recommend the Carriage Inn to friends and family interested in visiting this area, and hope to return one day ourselves. Thanks for a great stay!

Yvonne was delightful. From the minute she opened the door to her beautiful home,
we were thrilled. Every room was spotless! From the free refreshments, coffee pop, tea and cookies, to our yummy breakfast, delicious! Especially her pumpkin muffins. We will be back !! Thank you !!

The Carriage Inn B&B is one of the most delightful places I have ever stayed. It is charming and quaint and very comfortable. The proprietors, Yvonne and Jonathan, are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The breakfast is delicious and served in an elegantly appointed dining room. My friends and I loved the parlor where we could relax and have a glass (or two 😉 of wine and chat. The porches and yard are beautiful and hundred-plus-year-old trees - oh my, the trees in the front yard - are breathtaking! Our room was perfectly appointed and very comfortable. We stayed in the Shenandoah Suite to accommodate three people and we enjoyed sitting and chatting in the extra space of porch/bedroom. I can't say enough good things about the Carriage Inn. It is a must-stay for sure!

I cant say enough good things about the Carriage Inn Bed and Breakfast! We loved every minute. Yvonne and Jonathan treated us like family. Yvonne greeted us when we arrived, accommodated my GF allergy by offering a GF apple muffin that was so yummy, and gave us a tour of their elegant home. The home has a great history and the personal service was amazing. The room was comfortable and clean. Our delicious breakfast was served personally by Yvonne. When we had car trouble, they helped us get back on the road, even in a storm. Thank you Yvonne and Jonathan for making our anniversary special!

Beautiful house. The owners take immense pride in curating the history of this charming home. They are brilliant hosts. Breakfast in the morning was sumptuous. Rooms are huge and beautifully furnished. Tea and cookies sitting on a swing on the porch on arrival. Wonderful! So delightful! Yvonne is a wonderful hostess. Greeted us warmly. Room was beautiful, clean and the most comfortable bed! The Inn was decorated warmly and beautifully for the holidays. Outside the bedroom in an alcove area was a beautiful Christmas tree, a fridge with beverages and downstairs were homemade goodies, delicious hot coffee and teas. Breakfast was delicious!!!!!

Probably one of the best B&Bs my husband and I have stayed at. The room is very clean, cozy and comfortable. It is also very quiet even though our room is on the ground level. The hosts Yvonne and Jonathan are extremely friendly and helpful. They are great cooks too! Breakfast is plentiful and delicious! We stayed for 3 nights and breakfast was different every day. We’ll definitely stay at this B&B again if we return to this area.
