Highly recommend the Bluebird Inn!!! The setting is so beautiful and the charm of the house and furnishings are perfect. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The wifi worked great for remote work. We stored a few things in the refrigerator and enjoyed having coffee available. We especially LOVED breakfast at Farmhouse Bakery. Oh my goodness, the portions are big, things are homemade, the food is delicious! And, in supporting Farmhouse Bakery, we were supporting Rockside Ranch. We can't say enough about the good Rockside does in the lives of young men. The staff at the Bluebird were pleasant and attentive as was our entire stay.

This was our 2nd trip to Etna and the Bluebird Inn. What an absolute gem. The inn is lovely, the included breakfasts at the bakery are amazing and the town is awesome. Love the bakery, the brewpub and the Denny’s Distillery and cafe in town. The Inn bicycles are perfect for exploring around town. The hikers hut (sleeps 6) is ideal for PCT hikers or any small group. We will be back again and again.

This was my second time staying at the Bluebird Inn, I couldn't wait to show my Canadian friend around. She was literally jaw dropped. Scott Valley is just so lovely. The Bluebird Inn is so comfortable and cozy. I wouldn't change a thing in that house! Caleb, the manager, fixed breakfast for us and provided lovely company. The town is quaint with walkable neighborhood streets, all are so friendly. Do come and see!

I stayed in the hiker hut while hiking the PCT. I stayed two nights because it was so calming and peaceful. The rustic, simplistic backdrop emphasizes the attention to detail the hosts put into everything they do.
Favorite things? The breakfast. Great conversation that was not invasive in any way. The food was grown locally and/of prepared by local business.

I actually want to live here. BIG LOVE to the hosts.

I love this place!! It reminds me of the Dragonfly Inn from Gilmore Girls, and the town is a smaller Star's Hollow! The Farmhouse bakery was so cute, the pastries are INSANE. And the veggie breakfast sandwich? Out of this world. 100% would recommend to anyone!!

This has been one of the most comfortable and hassl-free stays of my almost 8000 miles on trails across this country, I can say with all honestly that the Bluebird Inn does it right. Everything you need is right in the hiker hut, and the set up of this place makes it easy to get your chores done and help you relax as soon as possible. I met hope in the lawn and she was so caring. She double checked that all was well and that I had my breakfast card, and just made me feel so welcome. I love this place and I would love to come back!!!!

The Bluebird Inn was a wonderful place to stay. We booked it primarily because we were taking a leisurely road trip north and wanted a place off the beaten path and our expectations weren't particularly high. Much to our amazement we found a beautiful room with everything we could want. The outside is unassuming but the interior is lovely and there was a great porch looking out on lovely grounds. Breakfast is offered at a local bakery with the best cinnamon buns I have ever had. Highly recommended

All of the staff at The Bluebird Inn in Etna, CA are super nice and helpful. The Inn was a perfect location for both the beginning and end of our family backpacking trip in the nearby Marble Mountains. The Inn has lush lawn surrounding where a small herd of deer graze at dusk and dawn. Very peaceful.
