Our second visit; this time we splurged and booked the Marie Antoinette Suite. Beautiful room and stunning bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Hot water in the giant shower takes a while. Had to unplug the room freshener as the scent was too strong for us; after that, no problem with it. Nice fitness room, though one treadmill was not working.|Kudos for the hotel's dog adoption program -- a sweet dog was in a kennel by the front desk. Staff at the desk and in the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. Ate both dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and the food quality was really good. |Overall, it's good value for the high quality of everything.

Beautiful fully restored hotel. Everyone on their staff is very friendly, greeted us warmly, and accommodating. Our room was very clean, with lovely period furniture that made it feel warm. We had dinner in the dining room, my wife had filet mignon, I had crab cakes with whipped potatoes and grilled vegetables. Our food was cooked perfectly, and the chef stopped by our table to make sure it was. We attended a show at the Smoot Theater, then went back to the hotel bar with friends. They stayed open a little later for us, and the bar tenders took good care of us. Highly recommend staying at the Blennerhassett when visiting the Parkersburg area. We look forward to another visit.

Nicely refurbished turn of the century hotel. Staff were super and very welcoming! Excellent cocktails and dinner in the hotel. Even though the rooms are small they are well appointed. Bathrooms are very small. Recommended for its charm and history.

We stayed at The Blennerhassett while on a work trip. The whole experience was unforgettable, being a historic hotel with cool stories about various ghosts that frequent the premises. The hotel room had a perfect combination of modern upgrades with a Victorian-style ambiance. Don’t forget to visit the Speakeasy in the basement for cocktails!

Room was very warm in spite of the AC set at 60. Room temp was 75 and very hard to sleep in with that temp. Check in was fine and dinner was pricey but good. Friendly staff! We’ve stayed there many times but the HVAC system needs to be updated or something.

Have stayed there several times over the years. Staff exceptionally helpful, kind and courteous. Restaurant food was very good. Room kind of small, no refrigerator. There for a conference - food for the conference also very good. Bellhop service not always available. Hotel very clean and decor beautiful.
