We just returned from a four-night stay here for the holidays. This is a very unique home that's hard to truly describe. It's nestled into the woods near the end of a dead-end road. The main floor has a large living room, kitchen and sun/play room. To access the other floors you have to use a spiral staircase and at the very top of the home is a bedroom whose walls are completely made of glass. The house is conveniently located near beaches, hiking and the town of Point Reyes. You can easily walk to a market and a small restaurant from the house. I'd really like to come back when the weather is better!

Just came back from a three day stay. It was wonderful. We had a large group of 12 people -- adults and kids ranging from 5 to 11. Everyone loved it. Plenty of space for all of us. Great proximity to hiking, biking, and getting oysters. Place was clean. Had everything we needed. Belinda helped with info beforehand as well as answering any questions while we were there.

I used to have all types of fun at this place! Me and a few friends would rent the joint and then invite people for a barbecue donations optional. The barbecue would pay for the weekend stay. We would run folks off before the debauchery got out of hand, and there was always a few ladies who were buzzed and needed to stay, for their own safety. 😜 I thought it was purchased by a private owner with intentions of calling it 🏡. 🤷🏾‍♂ I need to celebrate something so I have an excuse to return.

It’s been 25 years since we stayed at this place. We brought friends. They were impressed! We didn’t use all the rooms. Not everyone could stay the entire time.

MOST amazing VRBO ever!!! & bedrooms all private w/ won bath room like a mystery home...Hot tub, Large Decks QUIET-- like you are part of the Forest!

Blackthorne inn was very nice, we were sharing it with two other families. The only downside was the Wi-Fi it was not reliable.
